I have used this truck for a VERY long time and I can tell you that if you get a hold of the odd steering, find the upgrades, and get used to its high fuel consumption then that behemoth plows through literally any type of terrain. Mud becomes a joke. Deep rivers become puddles. Breakable ice becomes a snack. You get the gist. It has severely helped me through tough times and, just like the other legends, gets through it all like a dream come true.
If you want a more fuel efficient 4 slot heavy, use twin steer. If you want a ridiculously powerful 4 slot heavy, use FEMM with its max engine. I’ve compared FEMMs ptw with heavy cargoes to twinsteers and the twin steer was no match for it. The FEMM carries 2x metal beams without much of a problem, unlike twinsteer which will become a tipping machine when carrying this cargo. However, the same thing can’t be said for it carrying one of the newest cargoes in the game, Slate Blocks. This cargo should definitely be transported either by using the PLAD with its 4th engine or Zikz 605R, but any other truck will face severe stability issues when transporting it.
Seems to me like Russian trucks will keep their blue crane, and the US trucks keep the yellow crane. They should buff the blue crane, as the best trucks in the game are Russian.
Articulated trucks should be no problem to drive if you use a controller in steering wheel mode as it auto centers. Mod trailers are great with this truck for 4-6 cargo slots and can even be reversed with lockable dollies. I really wish the truck had always on diff locks, though. I always edit that myself. I love how it looks with the Euro style cab and big wheels.
So I actually tested FEMM VS Twinsteer a couple weeks ago. Same dirt hill on Polygon mod map, both hauling long planks, both fully upgraded. The question I wanted to answer was, "Which 4 slot hauler is ACTUALLY more powerful??" Well, I am here to tell you that people dissing the Twinsteer now are WRONG. Twinsteer made it up the hill in about 50 seconds, and stayed in High the whole time, while FEMM actually dropped out of High and had to go into Low + with diff lock to be able to make it up. So if you hear someone say the Twinsteer is obsolete now, I'd just ignore them. :)
It's good only if the roads are mostly straight. Also each time you press left/right direction, the camera also moves and using it much makes it tiring to eyes.
Ich fibde, größere Russische Lastwagen sollten einen größeren Kran haben. Erstens sieht ein kleiner kran auf einem großen Truck doof aus und zweitens ist ein großer kran einfach praktischer.
"Is it good?" simple answer is NO. Sorry but this vehicle is dogshit, it can carry ALOT of cargo yes,but only in a straight like and even if it has the most power and best tires in the game you can't go offroad,if you do the tiniest rock or dent on the road makes the truck steer like a worm across the road, it is the most abysmal experience i had in this game EVER and it's genuinely more frustrating to drive than a useless unupgradeable highway truck like the Ford 9000. At least the highway truck listens to you the drive, this trash does anything BUT what you want it to do. Seriously all they needed to do to make it good was make the steer torque higher so the truck wouldn't steer all over the place but the devs didn't want to make this too good because if this is too good ppl will not spend on the Mastodon -_-. . . . . . it's all about that money with these greedy ass devs at Saber.
I'm sorry, while you are correct on the weak steering mechanism, most of the crap that you said was "I can't adapt to how this truck works and I shall cry about that".

I love this truck. It’s huge, stable most of the time, and it lasts for quite a while on max engine for my use.
Man ur a great youtuber, coming back to snowrunner nice to see new creators

Russian trucks having worse cranes is important to try and keep the balanced
If russian trucks had a crane like the americans people would only use Kenworth 963😂

again im here, Are You From Iran :p
Can you do Azov 42-20 Antarctic vs Femm 37-AT please. There both powerful monsters they deserve a battle
Unlike many trucks in SnowRunner, I actually find easier to drive the FEMM 37-AT by switching to first-person perspective. Cheers! //Rick
This truck is cleary better than Western Star Twinsteer for the same purpose of taking 4x cargo.
But who better? Fem or 963 or zikz?
I think all this truck are best
It's good, but slow.
I like you

Or have the articulation work like the Forester so that it's more sure footed.
