I was drawn to this speech based on my research of Rudolf Arnheim. I experienced a similar reaction to his words in this speech. His perceptions on how the mind is able to move from abstract to concrete when creating art are fascinating. Howard Gardner's book, "Frames of Mind the Theory of Multiple Intelligences" reveals the minds of pioneering intellectuals in each field of intelligence. An analysis of Rudolf Arnheim as an artist lies within Gardner's breakdown of Spatial Intelligence in Chapter 8 of his book. An excellent reference book if you are interested in learning about great minds that have faded into obscurity as the madness of Cultural Marxism and technocratic tyranny engulf humanity.
Keep a chronological history of time, the thing in space is created then it remains and changes as it exists- this thing shows the history of its time- art animals buildings even people
These physical things however are viewed through perceptions in the observers mind and thus the space and time they take up is kept in our memories as snapshots
