the cross fade stuff is a big step there. but honestly i think it is still incomplete as they should add the possibility to tweak the fade in fade out of a sample on it's own and not only when theres another sample laying on it... like every other DAW made 15 years ago ...
They actually do have both that and also an even more important feature, which is adjusting the gain of each individual clip, something which before this update was only possible if every clip was made unique, now you only need to cut clips and you can adjust the volume of each cut as you like without the need of making every single clip unique or automating the volume. Really good stuff being showcased so far
