This one was particularly tough to put together, not an easy shortcut at all. Hope you all enjoy how amazing this glitch really is. Don't forget to sub if you're new and make sure to check out Bismuth's video - ruclips.net/video/2_uRIyAgtpE/видео.html Thanks for the amazing support. A+Start
You could do an entire series just on what Forest has discovered in the last few months. That guy has entirely changed the MK64 short cut speed run community
Falling into the vtuber rabbit hole has corrupted me into equating "grass" to "lol". I was expecting the joke to be "In Japan, they don't walk on the grass, they walk on the 草".
Props for crediting the discoverers of the glitch! Sometimes knowing the history of how some of these tricks were found can be almost as interesting as the glitches themselves.
I really liked that you gave a recommended video to find out more about this glitch and shouted out the discoverers. Would love to see more of this in the future.
Try to do it where I can, but Speedrunners are still really bad at saying who absolutely discovered what, documentation is always vague and I'd rather not credit that credit incorrectly.
Seeing as the Japanese version is usually the first version of the game, and that the international versions would be patched, this makes a lot of sense in an already broken game.
it may have ramifications for the speed run but they haven't really found any real uses for it other than Luigi's raceway sadly. (Might be forging 1 other track that it was considered on but turned out to not be faster.)

hey!
Awesome Video
Japanese People on their way to work.
*bumps into wall*
Lakitu: those are two laps to me
Lakitu is smort
Ah, good old times when glitches didn’t get patched out and were there forever
Toad : Hits a wall and drives backwards
Lakitu: Best I can do is *a lap count*
Lakitu's only giving you the lap counts out of pure pity for constantly driving into a wall.

In Japan, they don't walk on the grass
The drive into it to go to work

This glitch is hilarious, would love to see more Mario kart content, especially on the earlier games!
On it!
Mario kart64, you’re drunk, go home
It's time to dig my way to Japan.
I can't wait for the Summoning Salt speedrun progression video. I'm super glad you showed this off in a short, easy to understand way

Just fact that people take some time in their day to drive into walls and see what happens.

I appreciate you using the full version of the results screen music in this video
Ah, this background music makes me nostalgic. It was also the "good results" theme in Mario Kart 7, which was _my_ childhood's Mario Kart.
If only i was able to have the japanese version it would make it so much easier.
Love your videos man! When will you make the smash edition of low poly link? I'm looking forward to the video 😃
I just watched this On Bismuth’s channel
I could see an episode on the super bounce glitch in SA2 in the future
Awesome Video
Then they say the Japanese are the most advanced
Seeing as the Japanese version is usually the first version of the game, and that the international versions would be patched, this makes a lot of sense in an already broken game.
@Shiro-Luna I'm wondering how they didn't patch anything else 😂
Speaking of Mario Kart 64 glitches, the Weathertanko is kind of similar to this one.
I've heard of this glitch. It would be hard to beat a time trial if someone did this glitch lol! 😂😂😂
How does this hold up compared to a weathertenko tho
