The characters and ones who portrayed them will never be forgotten. They enriched the history of this show. Now with the recent passing of Doug and John, these two will be🙏 for ever remembered too. 🎉❤❤
I’m surprised the narrater didn’t mention McDonald Carey saying “Like Sands Through The Hour Glass So Are The Days Of Our Lives”. That was such a big-part of the show!
@@ruthguyer9998 They talked about him but failed to mention he did the intro Like Sands through hour glass so are the days of our life even after he died.
Bill Hayes(Doug) is the current member who's passed on. I was saddened that he came up months short of a golden anniversary with Susan, but he made it into the 99 club.
Wow,I can remember watching this show when I would get home from school when it was just 30 min long ... my grandmother also watched days but she thought it was real and we would have to remind her it was only make believe but it was her favorite I miss her so much and watching it with her miss you grandma😢
Doug Hayes will be definitely well missed, but not forgotten in our history & our hearts ❤that will never forget as days continue on, & why not have a restaurant named after Doug Hayes.❤😊
@@sherrieduncan7451 Bill Hayes was a fabulous singer and entertainer and actor. I watched “Day” during the early Julie and Doug years. Loved to hear him sing. RIP, Bill.
The photo may be incorrect or it may be the wrong person but Alan Alda is not dead…..at least the Alan Alda from Mash, that you have in the photos is not dead.
This just popped up on my RUclips. I am so shocked and saddened to watch this. I was 25 and raising three kids in the early seventies and l think l watched it for over twenty years as Aussie TV took it off tv. ( it did return but l don’t know when. And here they are now, long gone. I’m now 75 and cannot believe the passing of people l adored back then, a big reprieve from those days at home raising our little ones who are now just both sides of 50. Where did time go. 🇦🇺❤️🇦🇺
The news that 22 cast members from 'Days of Our Lives' have passed away is truly saddening. It's a significant loss for the show's community and fans who have followed their journeys over the years. Their contributions to the entertainment industry will be remembered and cherished. Let's take a moment to honor their legacies and express our condolences to their families, friends, and fans.
And two have died recently John Black Drake Hogeston. I met him at a meet and greet at our New Orleans Superdome I was recovering from surgery and was in a wheelchair temporarily and Drake was so kind to me and told my husband to take good care of me.
I met joseph moscolo Who played stephano when he was doing a play At bert reynolds dinner theater. He did such a good job with his accent , That I didn't realize he was really from new york. He was very nice and gave me his autograph.
Not mentioned is RICHARD GUTHRIE, who played DAVID BANNING on this series. He was very good at this role. I believe he died in 1995, after a drug overdose.
Well I loved Alice Frances Reed she seemed like a heart warming woman she would make her special doughnuts I remember and I really need to get hold of there recipes
I think Robert Clary who passed away 11/16/22 should be mentioned. He sang at Doug's Place and was on the show from 1972 to 1987. He started on Days of Our Lives right after Hogan's Heroes ended playing Louis LeBeau.
I started watching with my friend when the drama gotten good , princess Gina episode,I got hooked, and, when Marlena went prison and got possessed,I love all of them all the way until now2024,It's been a real ride with the old and new characters.
I’ve been watching since Genie Francis left GH & Joined Days… she played I think Dianna/ Roman at the time played by Drake when Marlene had left, I’m guessing to do the series with a young Shannon Doherty played her daughter. And came back after Stepheno had kidnapped her and she appeared on the Docks wearing red black & white jacket, Was a very riveting scene, when Roman as everyone thought saw her… never forgot that scene…
I remember when I went to Memphis to help Mama take care of Daddy who was suffering from Dimentia I took him to the laundry to get the clothes and he asked, "Are we going to see the evil Stefano?" I said "No Daddy nit unless we took a wrong turn!"
Left out John Lupton Dr. Tommy Horton and Robert Clary as Robert LeClare and many others who were on for long time while including others who lasted a minute MargaretMason as Linda Arleen Sorkin as Calliope, Wesley Eure as Mike Horton, David Guthrie as David. Nice thought but several names mispronounced Note of interest while it is now set in Salem, lllinois an hour from me in the early days it appeared to be set in the northeast possibly Salem. Mass.
What's the point of this? The computer doesn't have enough intelligence to pronounce names or common words correctly. There is a T in "Horton". The writer needs an editor. MICKEY Horton. The photos were frequently misidentified and how many times was Sā-lem _pause_ Illinois repeated? (Was it a drinking game?) Drake Hogestyn, who portrayed John Black, died 9/28/24. He was worthy of a Highlighted Comment.
All these people have passed are legends in their own right they gave us a second family. I miss so many of them.

I felt so badly for Brenda Benet.... She was so beautiful!!!
I miss them all. I have been watching Days since I was 12 . I'm now 62. Still watching!!
Me too
me too!
That's a long time. I've been watching since Alison Sweeney was introduced, she is my age. Absolutely ❤this actress
I’m 73 and started watching it when I was home (my mom watched it daily), when Julie portrayed a teenager!
I’m surprised the narrater didn’t mention McDonald Carey saying “Like Sands Through The Hour Glass So Are The Days Of Our Lives”. That was such a big-part of the show!
💯
@@verapena9465 I believe they kept doing that even after he left the show/pass away
It still to this day is heard with a recording of MacDonald Carey...
MacDonald Cary was the first one. Then the talked about his wife. He was the first one, they talked about.

i spent many a Christmas in the Horton house putting ornaments on the tree. bless them all what wonderful performers

Deidre I wish it was coming back on NBC 😊

I used to behind the scenes from 1990 to 1997 studio 2 and 4 good memories
I heard the word unwavering 7 thousand times
Resilient/resilience must come a close second.
Bill and Susan came to Melbourne to promote the show many years ago
Deidre Hall was my favorite character Marlana
She still plays the roll.
I remember her as Electra Woman
I would never watched when she had the demonic possession role. They ran that one in the ground.
I quit watching when Another World went off air
Deidre I love days our life s lot 💓
Alice Horton was called “gran”; I don’t recall Caroline being called that. I must have missed that.
No you didn’t their wrong
Couldn’t stand Alice/Frances Reid

Alan Alda is very much alive.
The narrator meant Antony Alda. He's Alan Alda's half brother.
Robert and Antony Alda not Alan

The program you have used is mixed up. Calling actors who played doctors by Dr John Callahan. Fix it.
Now the current actor passed away is Drake Hogestyn😢

Alan Alda still lives
Heather Tom is still alive!!!!!
Alan Alda??? Peter Brown???
Alan alda that you have listed, is not dead he is still alive according to Google. You may want to go over your facts & it have it corrected.
Alan Alda isn’t dead
Actually it was his father, Robert. 😊
P you don't have to keep saying Salem Illinois
It's the computer program I think. Automatic.
You forgot bout drake John black
This was done 6 months ago and he just died in September
Alan Alda was not in Days of our lives Lol
There is a real town called Salem Illinois
This might have been better if you didn’t use an AI voice. No feeling in a voice that’s not real.
Please stop having AI do the narration it's a bunch of crap I want a real person doing it because then it's heartfelt.
Please, get rid of this storyline, it is beyond BORING
