Robby he actually manipulated him valek was the puppet master and used the crooked man to make the family think that the little girl(s) were behind it all (in real life they faked 1 or 2% of the actual haunting). That way valek could kill them and get it over with but once they realized that the very human Spirit was being controlled by the very unhuman Valek they realised that most of what they saw was indeed real and not faked by the girls
PlagueDoctor981 YT Valak kept the Old Man from passing into the afterlife and forced him to terrify the family against his will. Even with this explanation, Valak is still the Crooked Man. The Nun established that Valak has the ability to take on any form it wanted (though primarily appeared to the Warrens as a nun as a mockery of their faith). Given how powerful Valak was due to being a demon, I'd personally think that Valak could easily manifest as the Crooked Man while at the same time keeping the Old Man from leaving.
Valak is not dead. She's just condemned back to hell. So there's a possibility that she might come back. In second thought, why would she die if she's a demon. And of course she's my most favourite villain in the conjuring universe.
I would love to see a movie about the crooked man, and also seeing the warrens museum and they have a lot of haunted artifacts I think they still have a lot of great movies in front of them
It wouldnt work due to conflicting rules in the universes and that the actor that plays ed warren would be playing more than one character, one in the 70s and the other in the 2000s
At the end of ''The Nun", Frenchie, who was one of the main characters ended up getting possessed by Valak, the Marquis of snakes. In "The Conjuring", They show a man getting exorcised in the video that Ed and Lorraine showed for a class. That man was Frenchie, who was possessed by Valak
The Nun was pretty trash, well, kind of. It was great aesthetically, story line etc. But it really wasn’t scary, it was just full of jump scares and Valak never really did anything. It just showed up, growled, pointed or something of that sorts and then disappeared. What really made the movie so unscary though was Frenchie and Sister Irene, they didn’t really seem scared most of the time and the little bit of comic relief throughout the film really killed the eery, creepy, suspenseful vibe.
chees.e Except for the later part of the film where Valak scratched Sister Irene's back, manipulated her into thinking that the other nuns were still alive, had a snake bite the Father's eye, transferred to Frenchie, and legit tried to drown Irene in the mucky water. Come on man, Valak did much more than what you said. The story, atmosphere, setpieces, and setting was muy bueno. It's not your typical horror movie.

There was a crooked man who Had a crooked smile Who had a crooked cat who caught a crooked mouse and they all lived together in a little crooked house. Is that how the rhyme goes? I forget the rest of it?
Imagine the exorsist the conjuring and the insidious universes combinining into one big movie that would be the best time of my life and who knows it could be a 4 part movie?
If Irene was related to Lorraine wouldn’t it make more sense for them to be like cousins or sisters? Because in the Nun, Loraine was showed to be part of Maurices Exorcism 20 YRS LATER after Valak was sealed... that would mean that Irene would have had a kid the same or a year later after she sealed Valak? So I’m thinking they would have to be sisters right ?
When I watched Insidious and saw the demon me and my sister were like: “IT’S DARTH MAUL WITH A TAIL!!!” Lmao! I was like “All they need is Obi Wan to defeat it.”
I’m here replaying the “hey, you want attention? Say you saw a pig in the window and that the walls are bleeding and BOOM! Book deal, baby” part over and over. Just me? Yeah? Okay.
[ spoiler ] the boy from the nun was actually maurice who Lauren and ed investigated, that's when lauren saw valak for the first time. sister irene and father thought they sent valak back but frenchi(maurice) was already possessed. this is how valak got Lauren. and I think valak isn't gone for good yet.

Joseph Galligar That’s not the movie everyone is referring too. The conjuring director is creating a new crooked man movie. That’s what I was referring to.
I have a theory. So in Annabelle:creation , There is a orphan named Carol. Now on the first conjuring the mother is Carolyn Perron. So my Theory is that Carol the orphan is actually Carolyn Perron. So she would’ve of had a different surname when she was a child. And that’s probably why after the first supernatural occurrences she knew something wasn’t right.

Yup. So cartoon . It doesn't felt real at all. 2 times got disappointed by anabelle & the nun. So I don't have any hype about that movie at all

The Nun had nothing to do with Amityville. It was a only a psychic premonition of Lorraine that just happened to occur at that moment.
I have a theory. So in Annabelle:creation , There is a orphan named Carol. Now on the first conjuring the mother is Carolyn Perron. So my Theory is that Carol the orphan is actually Carolyn Perron.
