As a kid, Biggie was one of the first rappers to influence me to start rapping myself. I remember I bought Ready To Die from this White kid for 5 bucks and listened to it all the time. I even bought his Life After Death album the day it came out from the Blockbuster video store across the street from me. I used to drive my mom crazy by constantly playing "Hypnotize" and "Going Back To Cali" on repeat over and over lol.
Yesterday I've bought this album on 2LP's in a limited blue colour vinyls. There is something special when you listen to a classic like this on a turn table.
When I listened to 90s hip hop like this with my dad when I was younger, I didn't really like this kind of music. But as I grew older and heard this music more, I started to like it and I still do. I like how people don't like a type of music but when they hear it more, they start to like it.

When I listened to 90s hip hop like this with my dad when I was younger, I didn't really like this kind of music. But as I grew older and heard this music more, I started to like it and I still do. I like how people don't like a type of music but when they hear it more, they start to like it.

@@christiaanward5272 Yeah, I mean not everyone was on the political, financial , stuff. But, they all had bars. And without many websites to upload and sacrifice on . You had to actually be talented. No you tube, apple music, and those other sites for popularity. You had to be scouted by someone with an ear.
