I never watched the whole seriers of this gen of MLP but if I remember right, the earth ponys are scared of the Unicorns so they don't like them around. when really the Unicrons are really nice and misunderstood. the orange pony you're playing as has a friend unicorn, and she understands "hey Unicorns are not bad they are very friendly."
The only Budge game I played was a horse endless runner sort of game XD (not quite the same as Robot Unicorn attack). Now to be honest, when you say "old school" my little pony.... Friendship is magic is not what comes to mind LOL Also the ponies in this app are from the new generation which is all computer generated.
The announcer lady was telling you to get Hitch, who is that male pony that had the "Key" on it. You have to have Hitch to get his skill from the penguin thing.
My Little Pony Friendship is Magic is my all time favourite series of My Little Pony and I loved the movie as well. I didn’t really like the new movie that much. I like the Friendship is Magic Game though by Gameloft but I’ll have to give this one a try though.
The reason the ponies don't like the unicorns is because they're scared of them, and the unicorns, ponies and Pegasus haven't been together for a long time, and they think that the ponies think that the Pegasus and unicorns are horrible monsters same with everybody else. Also about the "no unicorns" thing. In this generation the three races were separated and started hating each other, that's why there is still some propaganda left. Actually now three races should be nice with each other if it's happening after the first movie
