Moonlighting owned the 80's tv landscape. Almost every, current, show today tries to replicate Moonlighting- the chemistry between actors, the clever writing, the blending of drama, action , mystery, and comedy- not easy to do. This show had so many memorable scenes and so many unforgettable dialogue that still have a lasting impression on me. The first 3 years of moonlighting is brilliant.
I'd forgotten how great that scene was when they finally got it on! Loved the kissing and rolling around on the floor, breaking all the furniture! The mistake was allowing it to happen so early in the show. Just as that is what viewers would have like to have seen in the X files, but they kept trying not to make that mistake, so they drug it out forever and pretty much ruined it. When there's great chemistry, the viewers want it to happen in a big way...but the timing is everything.
Okay.. commenting on one of my favourite shows and then naming my all time favourite show (X-Files). Love both shows so much! And I was 5 when moonlighting aired 🤣🤣
I remember I was in college when the big event happened. We were all waiting for Maddie and David to finally "boink." Aah, the good old days! Wish we could go back in time
In love on the show, that is. Great chemistry. David and Maddie. David was a mans man. He was too much fun. Maddie was the ice princess who totally fell in love with David. Terrific show
