Good suggestion imma go with samsung tho love android more then apple i just dont wanna go into the apple ecosystem even tho ipad is a really good offering from apple all the other stuff is just not worth it ...

What do you think about buying an iPad or a laptop for an abyss of interior design and a desire to learn design and self-study it through the available programs? Which is better, an iPad Air or a mid-performance laptop? Can you give me suggestions?

I would suggest investing in a laptop first and maybe buy and ipad later on. Laptop will assist you much more at this stage
