🎉 Congrats Riley, the car is beautiful and I loved the clip u added from one of my favorite scenes. That Batmobile is phenomenal 🎉💪 Totally looking forward to your upcoming room tour🦇
I liked the entrance and that was such an energetic video, Riley. I'm with you that is a special piece. One question what are the dimensions of that module case? Oh one more thing, did you order the 89 Batmobile from Jazzinc ?
Thanks man! I tried, was super excited to get this video out. The inner dimensions are as follows: Length: 117 cm (46″) Depth: 56 cm (22″) Height: 61 cm (24″) I will not be getting the 89 Batmobile. Not a fan and don’t have the space! Thanks for watching and the kind words
@@jt00201so the roof of the car doesn’t have paint app issues, it’s just the grey affect they add to the car to make it look rusted and it’s applied throughout the exterior of the car. Joost confirmed this before I believe. The side of the car like I mention in the video is from my own finger marks. Which I will remove with a microfiber. Hope this helped 👍
If it's indeed a rusted effect applied throughout the car, isn't the bonnet, the front bumper and sides, and side trimmings supposed to have the most of those "effects"? I wonder why it is so obvious on the roof only and whether it is movie accurate. And this is supposed to be the non-weathered version? 🤷
I got the muddy boy version and I freaking LOVE this thing. I was very happy that it was so light in weight. The box is huge and carrying it up the stairs could have been horrendous.
If Hot Toys would have gotten their business together and make their version it would have been definitely divided but I'm worried about the time hot toys make their version of that car that they might downsize the accuracy just like they did with the 89 Batmobile making it smaller than the actual size 6 scale version of that car should have been and we both know that they're not going to be giving us the smoke affect even though it's a very easy thing with the vapor with water but this is an excellent piece I could care less that you have to take the feet off to put the figure in cuz who is going to be looking for that
I think they did take way too long. This was teased March 2022, ridiculous that it still hasn’t come to fruition especially with how they got a prototype out a year ago I believe. I still think it’s definitely coming but I’m still glad I went here. Hot toys definitely won’t carry the same features. Thanks for watching!
I would say so, I mean it’s still a very high asking price but I still really love it. I just wish it were worth 1-1.2k. Still happy with it though! Congrats on your waitlist
I’ve got the clean version on order. Are the wheels loose on yours? Been seeing a few videos indicating the wheels are very loose suggesting the vehicle may bow out over time? Could you share any info?
Hey! I’ve been hearing the same things, it has some mobility so that you can move the wheels in the position you’d like. I’m pretty sure they intended for the wheels to have some tilt so that you could achieve that. I think they’re fine, but I’m probably gonna make a video on it this or next week. Stay tuned!
I just got my weathered #157 yesterday and it looks so sick. It next to my Prime1 The Batman and whenever my Inart gets here will be awesome. Now just waiting on moducases lol
@@Riley.Reviews I'm sure you know, but is it possible to put a light strip under the shelf of the DF130 to illuminate the 1/3 better? I'm gonna do the same DF130 setup for my 1/3 and will have a shelf above it. Thanks Riley!
@@AustinCollects18 it’s a great point you mention. I actually think you can but I’m definitely gonna look into this. Maybe custom lighting because it does look dark
Just got the weathered version and it is pretty dope. Did you check the cockpit area by the passenger side to see if the engine is touching the black gas tanks? For some reason after I removed the padding in between, I noticed part of the engine that sits inside the cockpit was sitting on top of one of the gas tank valve stems and basically broke it off to the side. It’s still hanging on but it’s just bent off to the side now. You really have to throw a light in there to see it. Let me know if you have this same issue. I only really noticed it when the same gold valve stem piece fell out of the bag holding the remote. I started scouring the car to see if I broke something off and realized it the same piece as the one that’s broken inside the car from the engine crushing down on it 😅
I cancelled this order and have regretted since. Might have to get back on the waitlist. I love Ash Thorp's work and wonder if he will drastically change the car's design for the sequels.
For me the price is reasonable given item scale, availability and quite frankly artwork. I can certainly stomach that as opposed to paying the same for a figure. As far as the weight goes I actually like it but for selfish reasons being in CA and earthquake territory. I’d be skittish to place an item of value high up, scared of a plunge.
Congrats on the pickup. My biggest gripe with Jazzinc diorama items is the exorbitant shipping price. I refuse to pay $300+ on shipping alone on any item regardless of who makes it. At $1500 the car could've been more of a consideration. Also the likelihood of me turning on the engine sound and smoke feature outside of maybe once or twice is something I could've easily lived without. Perhaps if they would've made a version without those features to drop the price tag on a more stripped down version it would've been an option I could get behind. Totally agree with your opinion on the front window which I don't think I've heard from anyone else. The way the light hits/bounces off the window is the dead giveaway or just the overall look could've been better executed since it doesn't look up to par with the rest of the vehicle. Maybe if it would've been made out of acrylic perhaps instead of glass it might've worked. You can't deny it has shelf presence though and is badass. Enjoy it Riley!
Great comment, I think the shipping price is something they can hopefully look into. And yea acrylic may have worked definitely. I’m really happy with it overall. Thanks for watching!

Nice review! Question: For the high price, is it acceptable to have paint app issues?
It’s all subjective. For me, I had zero paint issues so I can’t really answer this question
1:59 roof of the car and 3:14 door and rear side of the car, able to clarify whether those are issues with the paint app?

What are your thoughts on the latest video from Joost, about the final product on the 89 Batmobile?
