Basically this year is flat rides/ flat ride packages, the Justice League Dark Rides and re themes. The only thing that is really exciting in my opinion is The Joker @ SFDK. Even SFGAdv's coaster feels a bit of a let down. I probably won't get to any Six Flags though this year, but they are more to round the parks out.

Not only can it make the experience more nauseating for some guests but it completely ruins the coaster for what it's meant to be. I wouldn't mind a single row of seats on 1 train, but all the seats? Batman backwards was the best thing to happen to six flags over GA. It added something new and exciting, and considering all of our coasters are run-of the mill or out dated it was a much needed change. It did make me sick though.. And I never get sick on rides! Oh well.
We have the joker themed one at sixflags over GA and it's pathetic, either they can't come up with new coaster ideas or they just can't afford it. Either way it sucks majorly. I'd rather get a carbon copy rollercoaster than more carnival rides or kiddie sections.
Honestly I don't get what people are complaining about. This actually really good editions for an amusement park. Just look at what cedar fair is doing, nothing. Just 4 25 million dollar B&Ms in a row. So when you put it into perspective, six flags does very well to all of its parks equally which is quite admirable

That's like 75% of Cedar Fair's budget, because every other park is either getting a frisbee, a flat ride or kids rides. Look at parks like WOF or MA that haven't gotten a coaster in years, and CP gets a brand new one just two years after GateKeeper.

Meaning immerse new theming;landscaping, better restaurants and food options, upgrading ride ques, plusing rides, onsite Hotel accommodations ect. I choose Six Flags Great Adventure. Being that it's one of their flagship parks and they boast it as the largest theme park a serious upgrade is due. Given its landscape it should really be given the WOW factor like the former sister park Warner Bro. Madrid. There's no reason this shouldn't be a destination park; an hour from Philly, an hour from NYC, 30 minutes from the beaches, a couple hours DC/Baltimore. What's your thoughts?
I agree with you, but really all of the parks deserve a makeover, you can go to any of the parks and find something, old or slow maybe it has been repaired before. But a lot of the Six Flag parks are Destination areas , but I do agree with you considering how close that park is to big cities.

I love how Six Flags Great Adventure had a one-two punch in 2005 and 2006. First, we got Kingda Ka and destroyed the coaster height and speed war, and then bitch slapped the country with El Toro the following year. And now ten years later what do we get? A Ring of Fire carnival ride and a cloned 4D coaster.
+Louie Lopez new paint, new trains, and the VR. It makes the ride more enjoyable with the new trains, the ride is smoother and no OTSR. But next year, I think Magic Mountain is getting a large roller coaster, they are saving money for it this year.
Six Flags doesn't hold a candle to Cedar Point or Cedar Fairs. In fact, Busch Gardens Williamsburg - which I just got back from tonight, is better than any Six Flags park.

I just purchased a 2016 season pass to SFMM and for the cost of a basic pass ($71.99) I was upgraded to a gold pass, parking was included, the Hurricane Harbor waterpark is included, lots of "free friend' tickets, lots of "discounted friend" tickets, and a "free through 2016" refillable soda bottle. Plus, the pass kicks in immediately and the remainder of the 2015 perks apply as well. On top of that, all the perks (parking, coupons, discounts, etc.) apply to any other SF park I may attend by January 1st. 2017. Did I mention that a single day SFMM ticket, minus parking and all perks, costs $76 at the ticket booth? And I wasn't even a renewing passholder!

I remember being at Six Flags Over Texas last year and they had some section closed off..
