He wasn't full of shit. He was a more than valuable man with impressive talent and political knowledge. He was very educated, eloquent and very intelligent. He uses it to manipulate everyone around him. That was a success for him and you have to get it done first. He is definitely one of the most famous criminals in the world because he was very difficult to catch by the police and because he never seemed like a criminal to those around him. He was very special and people were very surprised, they could never believe that such an educated, charming, successful, talented man with political knowledge was capable of such a cruel thing.

He was a psychopath with strong narcissistic traits. Nothing he said was genuine, it was all an act to save face but more importantly, it was just a game to him, and manipulation was his idea of fun

@@Shaz-gq7pv There's a lot of hidden fishy things about the family. There must've been some really disturbing traumatic bonds with the family and with his mother that were affecting him psychologically and emotionally. Sometimes these kinds of bonds make people pull tighter together within that disturbed dynamic / bond, and take out the madness on outsiders. If you look at the so called "mother" (his biological grandmother) in courts and wherever, she is completely delusional. Doesn't give a damn about the victims and his Ted was nothing but a sweet boy and they were punished unjustly.

Ted Bundy was a psychopath and a classic narcissist if he was a covert narcissist, he would’ve not cared gaining sympathy from others

On the Hare Psychopathy Checklist, there are 40 total points. Anyone who scores 30 or higher is considered a clinical psychopath.
Ted Bundy scored 39. I am unaware of anyone who has ever scored 40.
Basically, if you look up psychopathy in the dictionary, there should be a photo of him next to the definition.
So, this talk about him having remorse is a load of shit. He was neurologically incapable of remorse.
The feelings he described as remorse were probably more rooted in the fear of getting caught. He may have been angry with himself for continuing to commit crimes and being unable to control his urges, but that was only because that increased the likelihood of being arrested. It had nothing to do with empathy for the victims or their families.

I recall, when I first saw the Dobson/Bundy interview on VHS tape in 1989, during the opening remarks; during the first segment, this is...word for word...what was said:
DOBSON: "For the record, you are guilty of killing many women and girls."
BUNDY: "Yes, yes. That is true."
Thousands & thousands or people strongly believe that not only was Bundy playing a con game until the very end, even with Dobson, even after 2 or 3 years of direct postal mail communication with him through a mediary, it sounds like to me (and I may be 'wrong') Bundy pretty much began off the interview by totally incriminating himself, as being, totally, 100%, without a doubt, unequivocally: GUILTY. As a matter a fact, earlier that morning, before the video cameras started rolling with the Dobson interview, he was working with the FBI, giving them exact details where additional victims, that the authorities or courts didn't even suspect of him in these deaths, he was admitting to them; "helping them" solve those old cold cases, that obviously, he was at the center of. Was Bundy a double-personality, psychopathic, cold blooded rapist, killer, murderer...fill in the blanks...INDEED. Was he done lying there at the Dobson interview, knowing he had just 11 hours to live, giving his thoughts of just what started him down this murderous road? As Dobson said in the in-studio epilogue with reporter Brian Bastian, "You watch the video, you hear what the man has to say, I think it's obvious".
Bundy FINALLY KNEW, he was at the end of the line...and no more lies were warranted; nothing he could say or do, before he sat in the chair the next morning, could save him from the punishment of the death sentence.
    Pretty clear & concise...
I believe Dobson, was one of the few, if not, the only one, that was able to get Bundy...to admit his guilt.

I see a little man, terrified he was going to die the next morning, begging for his life. Probably the most emotion he showed in his entire life.
