Useually with cheaters. Its about catching a liar more than the actual cheater. And sometimes that can be the key thing to detecting if someones a liar. And if someones a liar, they are probably a cheater.
I think banning his friend was unfair. If the first cheater was cheating currently and not 3 years back then ok, because he would be benefiting from his cheats, but banning him straight away was too severe.

I understand being punished for cheating. I also understand there being punished for a certain amount of time. However, people change and grow up especially after 3 years. I don't think cheating as a 13 year old shit(for example) doesn't justify banning someone permanently forever. Especially if they weren't currently cheating. It's probably an unpopular opinion, but this is the only time I didn't agree with your ban. ESPECIALLY the association ban since they currently weren't cheating.
With the guy that was caught with prior game bans, he did say he had multiple game bans. And the rules of these servers never allow them to come back. It's harsh, but it seems cheating is rampant enough to warrant it. But I do agree with the association ban for sure. Unless he was friends with the guy on the prior accounts too, and from everything said here I don't think that was the case, that was overstepping things. No reason to think first guy was cheating or that this person knew he was cheating or had cheated ever before. Just got banned for a lack of respect which I can't agree with.

If you get a warning and then play with them again you're done. You were warned. If you see them cheat and keep playing with them you're done. Having an unfair advantage over other players because you associate with cheaters is the same as having an unfair advantage because you're the one with the cheats. We get it, you play with cheaters and think that because you aren't the one with scripts and cheats you're innocent. Get off the weed, it's affecting your judgement.

I mean, it's not necessarily that he couldn't believe he stopped playing (although it isn't unlikely that the player was lying), but rather that at one point he had contributed to the problem of cheating and many servers have rules that if you've ever had a game ban (and especially multiple) you can't play on the servers. The problem isn't whether or not you're actively cheating, but if you've ever cheated there is a very high likelihood that you will again and so server owners don't bother with the risk given the amount of harm cheaters do to legitimate players who've never cheated. It's a logical argument and I don't think Camomo's wrong for dealing with the situation as he did.
Friend put himself in the situation. MYOB comes to mind. Ban may have been a bit harsh but his presence was unecessary. Coulda just killed him but he would have just kept coming back. Friend wanted to be associated so he got what he asked for.
@@Origin22 It could be because they have a lifetime ban from playing the game. It is what you get when you cheat. He can appeal his case but he is evading his ban by using an alt account. Plus the server does not allow players with previous bans to play there resulting in a ban from that server for not reading server rules.

I mean, it's not necessarily that he couldn't believe he stopped playing (although it isn't unlikely that the player was lying), but rather that at one point he had contributed to the problem of cheating and many servers have rules that if you've ever had a game ban (and especially multiple) you can't play on the servers. The problem isn't whether or not you're actively cheating, but if you've ever cheated there is a very high likelihood that you will again and so server owners don't bother with the risk given the amount of harm cheaters do to legitimate players who've never cheated. It's a logical argument and I don't think Camomo's wrong for dealing with the situation as he did.

Friend put himself in the situation. MYOB comes to mind. Ban may have been a bit harsh but his presence was unecessary. Coulda just killed him but he would have just kept coming back. Friend wanted to be associated so he got what he asked for.

@@Origin22 It could be because they have a lifetime ban from playing the game. It is what you get when you cheat. He can appeal his case but he is evading his ban by using an alt account. Plus the server does not allow players with previous bans to play there resulting in a ban from that server for not reading server rules.

Yea, he even said before that he was on a different server. And most of them only require 1 year. But some of them are just any game ban no matter how long ago.
