I 100% Agree with you The instrumental is perfect (Reminds me of sonic frontiers LOL) They was cookin in that studio Until the vocals, I will admit. It had a good start but it slowly went mid and the lyrics caught me off guard, it doesn't fit the character with the voice, imagine a beast that is a psychopath and whenever they talk, they have this calming voice (and bro is trying to be a Lord X wanna be/hj) and uhhh... Sorry if I wrote this a little bit to long LOL
Honestly, this is the best version to me, I think having triple trouble eggman, knuckles, and tails pop in V4 and V5 is... Odd and doesn't fit in well.
