The test procedure is explained to the patient before the target is presented.
The patient will be told that they are to compare how each eye sees the coloured object and they should report how the two eyes’ images compare with regards to the brightness of the presented colour…in this case the red colour.
The clinician must ask the patient to describe which eye sees the red colour brighter. The eye presenting with the less bright colour is said to have the desaturation.
Clinicians must avoid assuming that patients will automatically report without teaching them what to expect and report.

Thank u so much Ma'am for diz. Pls my question is, u can't give steroids and NSAIDS in papilloedema, precisely d acute 4m? Wat if d PX isn't obese and isn't hypertensive, do u go straight to surgical options in terms of severe acute papilloedema? Thank u

Steroids are usually used for papillitis/ optic neuritis. For papilledema the treatment is treating the cause... Which is neurological
