Tbh I just don't think pigeon likes the Uber realistic feeling. With gravity that low and GA that high it seems like he sorta has made it essentially a skater xl with board breaking n walking
I actually have my low pop a few clicks Higher than the high pop slider. Seems to allow you to bunch up when grinding something really high. Am I tripping?
honestly that’s why, it doesn’t appeal as much to non skaters. ea skate had a really good mix of realistic and arcadey with the super high pop, speed glitches and online play. i love session for the realism, 2 stick controls even tho i use a controller with non analog triggers it’s either no turn or max turn but it’s not that bad bc i turned off double tap reverts… but especially if i wanna ride a bowl i’m gonna go shred carvatron in skate 3 or like go pool hopping in skate 2
@@mgiebus1869 for real some channel gaps and stuff feel weird to me and obviously session is more focused on street skating but cruising bowls is one of the most fun layed back things
I think sometimes for actual playability I like the camera high like yours but I think the game just looks so darn good when you have the camera low and close to the board focusing on it like it’s supposed to. It’s a work of art this game
Definitely going to try this, for me it seems like the camera settings are most important. Whenever I watch your videos, I get so pumped with how your skating looks. Although, a lot of that is your style for sure. Going to try your camera settings, and mess around with some of the other settings tonight! Thank you!
*UPDATE* I’ve changed my gravity back to 10 (default) as I wanted a little bit more weight again. However, I think anywhere between 7 - 10 is the sweet spot!
Try putting your camera lower behind the skater where the camera position blocks out the upper body (the lowest part visible should be the waist/hands), the game feels 10x less janky when you dont have to put up seeing flailing arms and those weird upper body animations. Feels amazing now.
Enjoyed the video, apricated the attempt at realism and I have also increased the gravity settings etc now too thanks to this video. great tips and smooth tricks :)
Might have been addressed, but is there any reason the number value changes, but your bar stays the same graphically? I.E. body rotation rate-8 Then rotation friction you say is 12, but your bar size doesn’t reflect that so just curios
Every setting I try it’s still impossible to get a line going you can’t turn or turn in to grinds like u can on skate just little movements needed arnt there
I just started Session, i did like 10 missions, the hardest part for me is to get rid of my EA Skate habits, i wish Legacy controls was still there but it's not so i will get used to these controls and i'll try your settings. I'm on Daewon song's Back alley fun mission. I can't do it and it pisses me off lol but i'll persevere
I don't know how to make video games but I think I could go out drinking for a week wake up hung over, hammer a six inch nail into my skull and I could still come up with a better control system than this game. I'm on my third day with this game I have copied these settings along with endless messing with them myself and still I can't do a front board down a rail, I can't even get it to slide he just flops even when I get on perfect??? And where are the grabs??? If they do put them in the game they are going to have to invent a new controller and wait for evolution to bring us 6 fingers before we can play it properly.
My gravity is at 15. Game feels much more snappy when you don't have wayyy to much hang time. Feels alot more realistic
I like switching it up every couple months. Changing up my stats always makes the game feel brand new again!!

thank's dude
@natpeterson6414 default for high pop usually Maybe at 11 sometimes. And low pop is at 8 so I can do slappys
Not sure why this game doesn't get more mainstream love. As a former skater, it's the closest thing I've felt to skating maybe ever

@@compositionxi yeah Skate 2 had some ill vert skating. Wish they could patch in some vert sor Session or maybe it'll be in the sequel

Skating since ‘99 and this is the best skate game of all time.
Same. Grew up on a skateboard and constantly got moved away from my friends because of my dads job. Still love skating but I'm just way to old.

Just got the game when it was on sale on Steam, and your settings helped out.

The sync flips thing changed when they updated it. The tre flips look awful sometimes when it's off.
Cant wait for creature to add numbers to the sliders, also the only thing missing on the video is my reshade haha xD

Haircut lookin fresh af fam!
ayyy thanks Kiiba!!
thank you for this, though i won’t be able to pull off your amount of steez i like having the settings. keep it up.

gravity at 18 is my fav rn
nice settings bro fixed my game 🔥🔥
I prefer a touch more gravity around 12 or 13, otherwise mine aren't that far off default settings, tweaking pop heights depending on the obstacle
7 gravity is wild af 😂 I play on 20. But if it works it works. I just never woulda guessed 7 :O
20 is wild too 💀
20 is insane 🤣, at the most 17 or 18
This changed my life 💖💖
Hey man, you said body rotation friction is 12 but in the video it shows you put 8? I’m just wondering which one it is?
just pick one dude who cares
i think he showed it as 12 down from the top
W vid as always pigeon man
Let’s GOOOOOOOOOO🔥🔥🔥🔥
9:24 nice

is the vertical offset setting the reason the camera is more rider focused as opposed to the board?
Yes, i’ve changed this recently to be lower so you see more of the board during tricks!

Is this PC? I want Vans shoes.
yessir, the Vans are modded sadly!
@@itspigeonthief Well, here’s to hoping Vans allows them to use their shoes for us console players. That’s awesome though.

Ur voice made my great grandma miscarry
good!
Those settings are way too hard
this game is 1000h in settings
Worth it tho!
3rd
Darkslides are overrated ASF
Advanced settings are for suckers
The directions doesn’t work for me i want to ollie to right and left but it doesn’t work is there any think to turn it on in the settings?
You can adjust the amount of sideways pop force in the settings but just make sure your popping stick is angled enough in the direction you wanna pop!
I found the problem i was playing auto on board control mode
