Great suggestions :)
Just made this, it's delicious!😍
Made this today with sautéed mushrooms, garlic and onions. I use linguine instead of spaghetti. Easy to make, and really yummy. My wife loved it. I cut the recipe in half. It made enough for four people. Fantastic idea to use up leftover turkey.
Great recipe !
I added unions and garlic to the butter and two cans of mushrooms to the sauce and it came out fabulous !!!
Canned??? Wow! Haven't used those since the 80's!! Why canned? Sad : (
@@dodgedabullet670they test better

I will this for dinner today
I used to eat this in high school i always thought it was pretty good😋
Had this in elementary school. Always good!
Came here from KC undercover
Looks great I will add peas as well...I'm trying this evening
I boil a cup or more of baby peas, drain and cool, adds a good taste of some greens.
Must have (Onion, garlic, celery' Mushrooms,) sliced and sauteed also al-dente' then a 1/4 cup of green frozen peas and 1/8 c of White Wine -
Less milk - use Half/Half if a 1/year dish.
And some bread crumbs mix in with fresh graded Parmesan Chees on top.
Use REAL "IRISH - KERRY BRAND BUTTER"!
A pinch of nutmeg, also.
They rarely mention dry or sweet w8ne. Sherry is best for me. Either way I saw this as a great basic recipe where one can give their own additions which waas mentioned at the end. Buttered bread crumbs for topping is classic.
Making this tonight. In the oven right now. Praying I did it right. I used can chicken in a pinch and added crispy fried onions along with the parm topping.
Love the taste of the tetrazzini sauce but hate the thought of baked spaghetti, so I just bake the turkey/sauce then pour it over spaghetti. Never dry that way. Also add mushrooms with a small amount of garlic, parsley and black pepper.
For this i will use chicken yum.
Some day when I'm feeling spendy I'd like to make this dish with crab meat in place of turkey.
TREASON!
What would Louisa have exclaimed?
I will try it and add peas
No seasonings??????
Needs mushrooms, and most importantly, white wine!
Gotta have mushrooms, peas and onions..... that’s my addition to this recipe.
EXACTLY!!!
Mushrooms!
It was pretty good. But if you don't want to make the flour / butter mixture you could just add sour cream and cream of chicken (or celery / mushroom). It was really good. But could only have one serving. Really heavy but decadent
What about the stuffing and cranberry?!?
To much Parmesan for me
Mushrooms! It gets Mushrooms'
Literally my only context for this dish is school lunch. My mother never made it, nor did anyone at whose table I ever ate serve it, nor did I ever have it at a restaurant. I can't even remember if I ever even ate it at all or if I was simply only aware that it existed. To this day, I have no idea what it tastes like. Furthermore, I'm in no hurry to become acquainted with it. Hope I'm not doing turkey Tetrazzini an injustice.
Tubebrerry ~ Funny thing...I've never had Turkey Tetrazzini within a school lunch situation. I have, however, eaten it every year (Thanksgiving leftover turkey) from both my Grandmother&Mother's kitchen. There are die-hard staples needed in the recipe; yet, varied every year critiquing palette and using imagination. Always..... Delicious ! It's now been a 4'th generation, bringing a 'Yummy' Curry Turkey Tetrazzini to our table.
Become acquainted.... Comfort food is always a good thing.
Do yourself a favor and come on over to the side of delicious
How come her CH's and SH's sound weird ?????
What about the peas?
edjucat I add peas and sauteed mushrooms in mine
That's what i was thinking as well
A bit of sautéed celery and a half-cup of frozen peas....
I add over a cup of petite formally frozen peas.
Chicken tetrazzini is a great dish if you trying to seduce your best friends man. #facts
Not a good recipe
Yeah hello... that's going to be bland as hell! Definitely needs onions..some black pepper and what happened to the peas, mushrooms, celery and cooking sherry????
No peas, parsley, bread crumbs or mushrooms??...sad : (
Where are the peas?
Excuse me but... You don't put mushrooms in as an add-in! Turkey tetrazzini HAS mushrooms. it's in the recipe. You don't add it in as an afterthought, or the onions! Where's the white wine in your bechamel? You showed us how to make turkey, spaghetti and white sauce. Sad face.
This recipe lacks pizzazz; needs garlic, onions, white wine, celery, carrots, spices, mushrooms and they use too much pasta. Maybe even cream cheese or sour cream in the filling too. Could be so much better.
