Wow. it has been 15 years since i last entered BT with my Kona Caldera. Seeing your video, I couldn't recognize the route any more..... like I remember the first up hill just after entering the trail but now seems like it is no longer there.... nice nice BT.....
hahha.... pancit already. if last time I couldn't go for a 2nd round of BT, now I think cycle up to the main carpark at the entrance will settle the morning ride for me.... hahhahahah
the other day i wanted to hike this route again to mentally prepare myself prior to bring my nephew here. but it has a warning no hikers, so im glad you posted this video! now i have an idea what to expect! thanks bro =)
I own a Polygon Premier 4 and I did that loop and it's quite good actually, I didn't think that it could conquer a double black diamond but it did quite well, nice vid!
Elektronica awww thanks mate😃 actually any decent MTB with working gears and good brakes will do the task of getting around the BT loop... good on ya for piloting yours through the gnar 🤘🏼
I used to live in Singapore almost ten years ago now and those trails where so good you can also ride along the abandoned rail way track it’s just a great place to ridw
I don't have the skill nor the bike to do a MTB trail there. But the route sure is interesting, something new than the walking trail, which I've done a few times 🤣 If only we could walk on the bike trail too.. just to see new trail
Love your videos..a quick question I am changing my bike across to a 1 x for the first time...I ride a hard tail so do you think a 11-42 cassette with a 34T ring is suitable for this trail...I’m still on 26” wheels.thanks
ItsKingin hi mate definitely give it a try... cost/type of bike is not so much an issue. More crucially: How is your off-road riding experience level, and familiarity with your bike?
There's no harm in doing this to build up confidence with your hardtail, what the guy above me said, you can just walk what you can't ride, also get yourself familiar with the trail
@@cloroxbleach9222 Missed your replies after 6months. Thank you, and yeah I am riding Bukit Timah already, using Nukeproof scout hardtail and it is great, just have to choose lines more carefully.
@@hfvvffvhh9719 Thanks for the advise, and yeah, having fun already at BT trails on a hartdail. I ride Ketam mtb trail a number of times but don't know why I never explored BT years ago.
I think if you are a good rider it’ll be fine. If u watch GMBN they pushed a hard tail on trails much much bigger than the hardest you could find in Singapore, so yea it’s about the rider more lol
Hi JJ. no rental bikes were shown in this video, but there are rentals certainly available from the @Yeti Bukit Timah shop (6 Hindhede Road) ;) Go check them out

ZeeCeeFour OvKSK so it’s practically a brand new trail for you. Heh! You gotta come give it another go then
hahha.... pancit already. if last time I couldn't go for a 2nd round of BT, now I think cycle up to the main carpark at the entrance will settle the morning ride for me.... hahhahahah
I see that the trail also look a little bit harsher especially the single trail part with slight drop on the left and ropes...
hmm i remember bt no trail when i cycle , just bash thru any opening and explored , lol , btw why no local kona dealer ?
Nice. It has been 25 years since the last time I'd raced there. Can't wait to go back.

I also did the same thing but with the five
Wow, this looks tricky, can't wait to try it. I will be moving to Singapore later in year. I think its not one to do alone!
wow! a fun and nice trail to sport your full suspensions...
I used to live in Singapore almost ten years ago now and those trails where so good you can also ride along the abandoned rail way track it’s just a great place to ridw
Excellent video. I have never ridden Bukit Timah but you just sold me.
Ted Kemp awww glad I could help. Let me know how you go when you do!
This was a great video, please do more. More monologue from you would be great.
Thanks! Ha, i do tend to waffle on if left to ride alone... that's why rides are best done with friends ;)
Awesome vid brother! Will keep a lookout for more. Sg own version of BKXC, Nate Hills, Trail Peak 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
namkul these are the guys who inspired and continue to inspire me👆🏼👆🏼
Thanks mate!
Great edit, would be super fun to ride with you guys some day. See you on the trails! :)
Hey Knut, thanks and yes... definitely keen to head out. Itching even more now with the rainy weather we've had!
Dude this is an awesome channel with awesome vids :) can become singaporean's Seth'sBikeHacks!!
UndefinedGravity that’s very humbling. I
Maybe it’s cos the mtbing community here isnt as large as in usa. Even our whole population is several times smaller
This looks great. I’m visiting from the Uk in December, do you know of any good mountain bike hire shops?
That was cool to see!
Thanks B1KER. Am inspired by you and MTB RUclipsrs just like you! Showing my little corner of the world and what it offers trail-wise ;)
anywhere can learn and get some practice of Mountain Biking in SG?
Great video. 👍🏻
Thanks! This trail loop is not huge, but it's definitely a swell ride ;)
Going down slope shiok..but climbing is my worst nightmare😢
the double drop always scare the sweet bejeezus out of me whenever im out there.
Heh, I check my speed on the approach ALL the time... so you're not alone in that regard!
The mental barrier is hard to break! :)
What model is your bike and where did you get it, it looks good

Curious to know what bike is used here. I have a entry level hardtail bike. Not sure if it withstand this trail. Wolf 900..
Wow.i need trainer like u to guide me on cycling up hill. I always drop halfway up n couldn'tcycle up.end up pushing my bike up hill
Zariman Dzulkiffli surely I can. Drop me a PM or email
i am a noon beginner lol i keep having. to push up also i use hard tails instead of fullsus
Nice video, love cycling.
I have a rock rider st520 2021 model. Would it be able to handle the trail?
Yes
If it full suspension
singaporean version of loam ranger, nice!
Thank you
What camera are u using sir? Gopro?
Doesn't look safe. Well, this is the life of mountain biking
Hi bro, what brand handlebar u useing can i know?
Hi. What brand do you use and whats the best brand for MTB?
Yeti SB140
Correction its SB6 turq
Theres no best brand, just find one that suits ur riding style and budget.

i think that's a good, all-round gear range for 26" wheelsets here in Singapore. it is simple and gives good progression through the range
@@RawEpics thanks for the reply... Much appreciated
nice mountain biking edit, you've got talent, one more subscrider !)
Hey BIKER38, thanks for the props, mate! Will keep doing my best heheh
I really want to experience this but currently I am riding an entry level hardtail bike. What are your thoughts? Awesome video btw. Thumbs upss
ItsKingin hi mate definitely give it a try... cost/type of bike is not so much an issue. More crucially: How is your off-road riding experience level, and familiarity with your bike?
alright! will definitely give it a go.Thanks for the reply :D Keep making awesome vidssss!
I wish I could go there
This is a nice trail. Doesn't seem too easy but not too difficult too. Do you think an entry Giant, or Trek hardtail MTB can handle the trail?
If ur an experienced rider i think so. Some features u might not be able to if ur newer. But u can always walk what u can’t ride
There's no harm in doing this to build up confidence with your hardtail, what the guy above me said, you can just walk what you can't ride, also get yourself familiar with the trail

This is fun! Can a hardtail survive the route?
I think it's more of the rider surviving than the bicycle

jgaronbars thanks! It’s my first ever SGPOV ;)
Nicee..... 👍
nice trail ride safe new subscriber here from 🇵🇭
Bike blogger ph thanks for supporting n watching!
I wonder can a gravel bike handle this?
It would be great if you could make a video at Ketam Trail..
louie palapar stay tuned... it is coming!
Hey man, do you know a bike supplier in Singapore called Bike Sports MTB? Just trying to find out if they are legit! Thanks
Did your buddy rent the bike ??
Hi JJ. no rental bikes were shown in this video, but there are rentals certainly available from the @Yeti Bukit Timah shop (6 Hindhede Road) ;) Go check them out
Yes I know.. I have my own mtb
👍👍
The uphill tho
very steady track.,.., subscibe
Why you need full enduro bike for such lame trail?
so............. where you suggest ?
sorry scrooge mcduck, not everyone has a mountain of money where they can buy a bike for every type of trail they ride.
I mean do you want him to buy a trail bike or xc bike just to ride this? As long as it works it’s fine right lol
To show off to people
Try harder bro
