So basically the reason why everyone loves this game including me it’s actually very cool in terms of effects and moves and characters and there’s only a few characters one isn’t finished and all the ults are so cool and the finishers are top tier imo, and there will be more characters in the future you barely saw any finishers you saw one finisher out of the 9 that are out currently
i would agree but i dont think the one punch man game fits int to any of those except flashy moves. Most of the animations i saw were pretty mid and the combat in my opinion is the worst i have seen in a while. Long story short i hate the game, idk why i just do.
Tbh, this is not at all a bad trend They’re all at least attempting to be fun games and have somewhat different takes on combat, such as Rogue Demon, the Strongest Battlegrounds (OPM Based) And I think there’s a My Hero one that’s actually pretty good too There’s also Fruit battlegrounds ofc, but I still hate the dev team for giving up on one of the potentially best DBz Games that could’ve been instead of making a worse game imo
I think it's because of the lack of chars and battle modes,since all you can do is ranked or points,so they closed the game to add more things and then release it completely and hope it doesn't break
Games like these are growing in popularity due to the ease of access, the fact that theres no leveling or buying characters or anything like that. You just join as yourself, pick a moveset and have fun. What I like mostly is that you can stay as your avatar and still play the game normally (I don’t know why a lot of games stop you from being able to just be your own avatar its so annoying)
games that usually change your avatar is generally related to the set of a games atmospher of feeling like your in a type of era, example war games or medival but of course there are obvious like anime games that makes you choose a character or cosplay as one, it just makes the game feel more like you related to it and sometimes it might be a different case of why you avatar changes on a game, i would like to explain it but i wont make it to much of a dictionary This is just one of the examples, Theres still more that i havent covered, if you want me to continue it i guess you can ask
also the fact that the focus is on the cinematic aspect. Instead of being games that focus purely on combat, those bg games try to keep a balance between combat that feels great, and looks/sounds great too
PArt of the appeal I feel like is the fact that you literally just have to join the game and you can start fighting right away. No gamemodes, no leveling up, no having to buy characters, just pure free for all chaos when you join the game. The devs have more time to just work on characters since all they have to do is add characters and balance them. We're also able to see the progression of upcoming characters through early access gamepasses which let us play the character even while its unfinished but we can witness its development.
A big reason why Saitama Battlegrounds or Strongest Battlegrounds is so popular is the insane tech and combo potential. At first glance the combo system seems very straight forward but once you actually start to get into it, the combos become insane and executing them is very satisfying.

This is a trend since take saitama battlegrounds for example, you were missing a massive part of combat, many abilities have different properties that allow them to combo into each other and depending on the state of your opponent different things happen such as combo extending capabilities, with these properties you can make many different combos, it also isn't like the combos are overpowered since there is an evasive if you are ragdolled in a combo. There are different m1 chains as well that create even more combo routes. There are also visuals that people love seeing, as well as finishers as a small little sprinkle of fun. this is why these kinds of games are thriving (there is also the anime aspect of the game helping lol).
Its not even a cash grab....the nly thing you pay for are PV servers or early access to characters that will be free eventually. Talk about narrow minded

Some tips: Certain moves like Garou's stomp can hit people on the ground. Trying to extend of a ragdoll with normal m1s will not work. Although, if you time your dash well enough, you can catch someone when they get up. Also, moves have finishers. So if you kill someone with a certain move, they will die a certain way, for example, get flung. Last thing, jumping before the last M1 downslams, and holding jump during your m1s uppercut.
I think the main attraction to these games is definitely, for one, the graphics and animations are really good for a roblox game, which is always a big factor. But as a "battlegrounds enjoyer" I really enjoy how it avoids being a "stun sim" by having pretty much every move cause knock back, and instead require you to rely on the dash punch (which has it's own cooldown) to extend combos. Of course there's also the uptilt and downslam that give the combos more variety. Sidenote: killing an enemy with a move triggers a finisher, and so far every character but sonic has some sort of passive tied to it Saitama: more mode gain (especially on finishers) Garou: Healing on finishers And Genos: refreshing cooldowns on finishers (he can also gain mode by using his moves repeatedly on dead bodies, which is probably why his mode gain is the worst.)
i love this trend because i can adapt to the simple combat quickly and learn combos then just demolish everybody and when i find somebody better than me or close its fun

Heros battleground is made by the same devs but has a lot more functions. Moves are different in the air,animations when you hit someone around trees or benches, and really cool ults. Only two characters rn, but it's fun.
nasu what ur missing is the side dash (when u hold d or a and dash) has no endlag so for an example when u use that garou move where he throws hella punches and ragdolls at the end, u can side dash into the ground grab move and start another combo and this goes for every character in the game
I think it has to do with the effects and how it relates to the environment like how there are craters and dust effects when it dashes to kind of create this realism at the time and not realizing it and the amount of smoothness and satisfaction you feel when pulling off a combo

Personally, i like the game cause of the effects, animations, and gameplay. There aren't any true one combos as well.
ok lemme be the first to say that your intro IS THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN. But also, I personally feel that the reason that these games are so popular (Specifically strongest battlegrounds) Is cause their actually pretty balanced, like you wont get trapped in super extensive combos, and at times you have to adapt on the fly, paired with the ability TO actually land cool combos that gives a skill gratification that leveling just can't replicate. Like I went up against the #14 and it was actually a pretty tight match. also there is an evasive, just side dash while ragdolled or midair.
Also Infernasu, there is another battlegrounds game called Rampant: Blade Battlegrounds and it is a pretty underrrated game, the game is really smooth, they got finishers for when enemies are low and it is a really enjoyable game
Hero's battlegrounds is my personal favorite, the animations are so cool and beautiful, and not many good mha games are on roblox. I also personally enjoy MHA more than OPM, so that's a thing.
Weirdly enough this also extends to non-anime games like undertale (Alternate Battlegrounds and it has i think the highest playercount among all soulshatter games) so i wouldn't be suprised that other non-anime IPs make battlegrounds games
I think they get more players because each character or spec has more effort and Aldo because if a game has a lot of specs people will ignore many of them because one didn’t have as much effort or they aren’t as flashy with few characters you appreciate little details for each character
The games are fun, accessible but pretty deep when you start checking the advanced combo's, everyone has the same characters (apart from early access character which become free when they are done), the games usually look really good with good animations and effect. Personnally I tried ABA and I just dont like how it looks, the fact it forces new player to play in a free for all mode when all they have just a few characters and they have to fight players with way more experience and character in a game mode that doesn't really promote skill. Battleground game promote mobility more too, so for people who like dash like crazy you have that.
I have always been a battleground game type of person, I'm tired from playing all those unoriginal leveling up/bandit beater game since 2016. Roblox is so dry that it's drier than a two dollars steak so it's nice to see these battleground games getting developed, it's not unfair because theres no levels difference and it depends on your skills (for some games) tbh.
The ease of accesibility with good development and easy combat makes the game popular but J think what makes it popular is its just one anime not a collab of different things and the Battleground games have their each seperate character that most games wouldint have. For example Aba only has saitama as a mix of genos, Mumen rider Etc, But in Saitama battle grounds each character has their own seperate abilites and ultimates

People probably gravitate towards these games because they focus on one anime. ABA's graphics and fx dont compare to these games because its a variety game and it its usual style. another part of the appeal is the hype for each move of a new character dropping that brings players back

Tbh, I'm only basing this on Saitama battlegrounds, but I think the reason people like it is that you can get into the game immediately and play whatever character you want without having to do anything for that. And maybe flashy animations, but imo the combat kinda sucks. It's just 50%+ damage movespam hell.

It all started the second Saitama Battlegrounds was made or also known as The “Strongest” Battlegrounds
I think they get more players because each character or spec has more effort and Aldo because if a game has a lot of specs people will ignore many of them because one didn’t have as much effort or they aren’t as flashy with few characters you appreciate little details for each character
The games are fun, accessible but pretty deep when you start checking the advanced combo's, everyone has the same characters (apart from early access character which become free when they are done), the games usually look really good with good animations and effect. Personnally I tried ABA and I just dont like how it looks, the fact it forces new player to play in a free for all mode when all they have just a few characters and they have to fight players with way more experience and character in a game mode that doesn't really promote skill. Battleground game promote mobility more too, so for people who like dash like crazy you have that.
I have always been a battleground game type of person, I'm tired from playing all those unoriginal leveling up/bandit beater game since 2016. Roblox is so dry that it's drier than a two dollars steak so it's nice to see these battleground games getting developed, it's not unfair because theres no levels difference and it depends on your skills (for some games) tbh.
i take this trend 1000 time over the simulator trend tbh
The ease of accesibility with good development and easy combat makes the game popular but J think what makes it popular is its just one anime not a collab of different things and the Battleground games have their each seperate character that most games wouldint have. For example Aba only has saitama as a mix of genos, Mumen rider Etc, But in Saitama battle grounds each character has their own seperate abilites and ultimates
my only complaint is that these games just have no content, once you've played it for a handful of hours there's literally no reason to return to it

@@FiyahPowa_ ngl all of the games after saitama battlegrounds are just cheap clones trying to leech off of its success while they lack both the effects, animations, combat, and feel of sb and just end being cheap clones left by the wayside
@@MIRAK-EL it really just comes down to how consistent the game(s) are with their updates. If they stay at like only 3 different characters for like 6 months+ the game is gonna be hella dry since everyone plays the same thing and you wont have a challenge since you know how everything works already.
I believe the only unique battlegrounds game is hb or heroes battlegrounds, just because u can interact with objects which is nice

Little tip is that if you just m1 3 times jump in the air and while mid air you can downslam your enemy
Some battlegrounds i have know so far in this trend are: The strongest battlegrounds (sb), hereos battlegrounds, sorcerer battlegrounds (jjk)

these battleground games are really good the combat is just amazing i wish all games had combat like this
the environmental interaction it just makes me feel like im actually in a fight where i can use my environment to my advantage which is something i love doing in games (heros battleground has the best environment interaction easily since you can do an animation on someone by like barraging them against a tree then sending them flying)
but i will never understand how someone can play this game for more than 2 hrs at a time it gets boring quick since its just the same thing over and over
You can make some insanely deadly combo's with the right movement and you can also catch ppl mid air with the right moves

Probably the reason this game has a lot of players are ultimates and finishers (kill someone low with a move when u have blood setting on)

People probably gravitate towards these games because they focus on one anime. ABA's graphics and fx dont compare to these games because its a variety game and it its usual style. another part of the appeal is the hype for each move of a new character dropping that brings players back
rogue demon was like the OG of these games, same pay for early access, same changing characters that are all free in a battle grounds style

Only problem with saitama battlegrounds is that is that there's alot of toxic players in public servers and there's so many sweats in ranked. Probably impossible for new players to learn

Tbh, I'm only basing this on Saitama battlegrounds, but I think the reason people like it is that you can get into the game immediately and play whatever character you want without having to do anything for that. And maybe flashy animations, but imo the combat kinda sucks. It's just 50%+ damage movespam hell.

You Can use diffrent m1 holding down ur space bar Will upper cut them in the air and the other one you have to jump in the end m1 and it Will kick him to the ground and you Can kick them if they on the ground

It's not a trend it was already there in community for a while just dormant , but i honestly enjoy playing these type of games, no levelling, full chaos

Its a trend mainly because its simple and also people is bored of bandit beater games and some games that makes you grind every crap in the game only to buy one character and another thing is because the game is balanced nothing is really that broken
Infernasu,if you get the private server+ gamepass and go into your own ps,there’s another character called sorcerer which is gojo,and it’s REALLY strong
Sometimes over complicating things and those extra stuff devs add to get out of combos n etc can ruin the game

this game is cool cause there is sweaty combo with amazing effect and compatible with many platforms.Also Hero hunter is the most fancy combo char in the game because it grap and 3 move hit ppl on the ground in to combo.
Battle ground games are mostly for people who dont want to grind tediously for either stats or new characters. Athough most of the time, battleground games have really cool moves but the combat is sadly pretty mid. But I can def see the appeal in those games
