  • I’m often asked, how I make my own rose gold mixative. As I live in France these products are hard to come by and requires a long wait via the postal service, so I make my own and I think it works fabulously!
This videos show the step by step method and the products used.

I have used 91% alcohol, with cheap mica powder from Amazon-I feel like it works well, but it needed to sit for 24 hrs to taint the alcohol well. I am a newbie at AI, so not sure if my opinion is great-but it did work. I bought color changing powders that I am trying-I love them in the resin so I thought I would try them in the paintings. You do have to spray coat your painting-the powder does rub off so easily. Wondering if there is an additive I could use to make it bond better???????
