I love this video and the song too you did an amazing job, I have to say Elena doesn't deserves to have anyone of them cuz she is only hurting them they should move on and let her find someone that she can be true with her feelings towards and not a bicth to everyone cuz at the end she's gonna end up alone

They put all of that in this show on purpose. All of the build up between Damon and Elena has, especially when together. Is why and how their relationship is so strong, unbreakable and true. No relationship or friendship is perfect. They both had their times of hurting each other. But at the end of the day, they will be there for each other no matter what. And they always have.

First of all, they both had their times of hurting each other, that's how you develop LOVE lol Love is not perfect just like HUMAN and even VAMPIRES are not perfect, no one in this world is perfect lol That's how God created us, creatures, lol It's how they build up their relationship. Stefan and Elena's relationship started by the curse, but even while she was with Stefan, she met Damon and as she got to know him, she hated him because of his reckless, selfish, and impulsive behaviors and killing a lot of people, but as she keeps getting involved around the Salvatore brothers, she began to see the goods in Damon and Damon always been there for her. That was how they developed their friendship bond after that, then Elena began to develop her feelings for Damon but she didn't want to admit that because she was still with Stefan. Also, although Elena didn't want to admit that, she always finds her way back to Damon ever since the beginning lol AND Damon and Elena actually were the first ones to meet each other, not Stefan, Elena didn't remember that until she was drowned at the end of Season 3 Episode 22 because Damon compelled her to forget. And when she got turned into a vampire, that's just when her feelings start to amplified and that's when she couldn't deny her feelings for Damon anymore. So, just saying, she's not perfect, no one is perfect, everyone has their flaws. You have your flaws, I have mine too, she also has hers, they have theirs, everyone has their own flaws lol And they did it with a purpose.
