  • This video is mainly about how I personally handle my stutter. What techniques I use to be able to aid my stutter. What exactly I went through as I grew up with the speech impediment and what helps me get through the rough times of it. Also I talk about how it held me back from being the great individual I can be

This is what I pretty much go thru myself on a daily basis. I'll have my days where I wont stutter as much and then other days where its just frustrating. I always found rappin as some sort of therapy, if anyone hears how I spit they would never even think I stuttered lol. Been goin thru this since 7 years old so ive been thru the whole people teasin me and the main cause of me fightin in school.

David, we definitely relate. What I noticed recently is that if you don't consistently work on fluency, the second you stop working on fluency is the second you will get worst in fluency. Crazy how we can't take breaks cuz once we do it will effect our fluency dramatically at least for me it is

great video, i'm curenttly in a situation where I really like this girl at my work and I want to man up and talk to her but I fear what she's going to say or react to my stutter, it drives me nuts man.

Jimbo maybe she will think it's cute, your stutter that is. A lot of women I use to talk to thought it was cute. As long as you can get your point across go for it bro. The worst that can happen is that you'll stutter. Try not to think of your stutter even though that's difficult to do since we have been living with this for so many years that it's like second nature. Btw did you go for it yet? Lol

+Domingo Bonilla my stuttering is very interesting tho, like you I learned to manage it during middle school to the point where I never noticed it anymore and this progressed all the way to the end of high school. It was not until when someone close to me joked on my unnoticeable stutter a few years back. That joke really changed me a lot psychology and I started trying to force myself to talk without that mild stutter, all I did was made my stutter bad as it never has been in all my life. Like even now, i'm not used to stuttering bad in front of others ! And to answer your question, no I haven't yet but because I don't see her all the time, maybe once, if i'm lucky twice a week. But I feel a lot of pressure cuz I know that she wants me to go up to her, I feel like she's waiting on me.

great that you are doing better and better. man. i'm interested in what industry you are actually workin. but I understand it involves talking. i stutter but i've had help from the del ferro institute in amsterdam (i'm dutch). its a speaktechnique that is supposed to make you be able to control your breathing and thus your stammer while talking. It's reduced my stammer a huge bit. i'm not done with it yet. some words have given me tremendous pains but I still work on it. maybe you want to check it out online. i can explain it more if you are interested.

I'm thinking about creating a series where I go out and talk to people in public while talking like that. asking them about their experience with stammerers. the methods intends to have you get rid of your stammering after having succeeded 60 days of intensive speaking without stammering.

Hello I have a quick question, so I've been stuttering for the past 4-5 years because I never remember me stuttering my whole life. I'm currently a senior in HS and I was wondering if you have any tips for job interviews? I wanna have a part time job but I'm too nervous, like for me a only have a block but it isn't too bad which is I guess a good thing bc there's people who have it worse. I need to do better and get tf outta my comfort zone, also what's your career?

Jboy 1K about interviews you really have to have the ultimate confidence in yourself when you’re in an interview. To prepare yourself for an interview, have your answers ready for a few questions you know they’ll ask you. Google top 5 questions an interviewer asks an interviewee. Exercises before the interview helps. When you don’t go into an interview prepared that’s when blocking occurs more. And as for my career, I day trade in the forex market and help others become successful in the same market as well. But the one thing I can say that really helps me is daily exercises. Practice every day, practice doesn’t make perfect but it does make improvement. Feel free to ask me whatever you’d like. Even if you’re interested in trading forex yourself.

Domingo Bonilla Alright thanks for the response, also I feel like my blocking stutter holds me back alot in life. Some of them are like wanting to have a job, meeting new people, asking people for help without texting them through a phone. Like high school has been the worse 4 years of my life, I get bad grades mostly bc I never ask for help or enter projects, and even do presentations. Right now im tryna to recover credits to graduate. Also what are some exercises that you recommend me? Also sure what exactly is the trading or the thing that you're doing.
