Y'know having watched dozens of Vic panels here on RUclips and have been blessed enough to attend a few myself, this is just heartbreaking to watch. Vic's spirit has been broken. You can see it in his face, you can hear it in his voice. This is NOT the same man who could take command of a room of 300 people and charm them w/ his presence. He seems almost timid and very apologetic b/c he knows all eyes, (especially those of the haters) are on him. It's extremely sad to watch. He doesn't deserve this. I know there are those in the world that do, but all he has ever done is show love, kindness and support to his fans. It's a sad world we live in when one so beautiful as this man, has to APOLOGIZE for showing LOVE. God Bless him for STILL wanting to be the voice of encouragement in the midst of this nightmare. Selfless to a fault, that's Vic. I will NEVER believe those LIES, and I will ALWAYS stand by him. I love you, Vic.

The funny thing is that they are doing it to avoid criticizm against Funimation, but in the end, its going to backfire on them really hard. Not just on Monica Rial, but on everyone who supported her lies. Even though Vic wants us to spread love and positivity, i'm not as good person as he is. when fma was in its original run, i emailed vic for help with a school project. he helped me with all of it and i feel like he is a good dude. i cant not believe him. I agree to an extent. However, he is going to need to take responsibility and work hard for it because the big picture is that many VAs at Funi know that there were people who got hurt (don't know to what degree but still). For me, the things he can do is see a mental health therapist for a long time and get a letter of clearance to show he won't hurt anyone anymore. He also needs to write a long handwritten letter WITH HIS OWN TWO HANDS to everyone that he has ever hurt to show that he will make an effort to change and take responsibility for anything he may have done. Again people at Funimation are coming out against him, and I trust the words of his co-workers, what is important is that we all find a peaceful solution for everybody, especially the people he has affected.

When that person who shared the bible verse at 23:25 and just seeing his reaction to it and the way he was about to start crying just made me tear up, especially with all that he has been going through recently. I just pray for resolution and hope that we ALL learn from this and inspire to do what Vic was telling us to do and spread positively to everyone so that we can change their trajectory and have a positive impact on their lives. It's just extremely far-fetched for me to believe people that have been catty and have pushed bizarre narratives for such a long time when they suddenly make accusations toward someone that don't sound like they're based in reality, while the accused is open and talks about everything he can leveled at him and appears to be a genuine person. If they really want everyone on their side, they're doing a bad job.
Its unfair but its understandable why companies do what they do. It hurts their public image. People will think that the company condone the actions of their employee(s) by not taking any actions in reprimanding them. This in turn may cause people to no longer support the company financially. Alternatively, people may boycott the work the employee participated in which hurt the sales. Which is why recasting characters was done. They don't want to risk loss in sales. It's always money. If they aren't earning money from the series, they probably don't care if Vic stays or not. Heck they probably keep him because its not easy to recast the character and find someone equally as talented. But since money is involved, they will have to listen.

I really admire how he is handling this whole situation honestly. He is not out there asking for ppl to flame those who accused him, he is not out there trying to blame others. Heck, he went and apologized for stuff he didn’t do and just look how he is still spreading positivity. Is really admirable. I was super excited I would finally get a chance to meet and speak to him again about how strong he is through all this negativity and to keep going and how much of an inspiration he is to so many! You can play around with the concept of them doing the standard and proper thing, but what about Roosterteeth has ever been standard? While Rooster Teeth are very successful, we have seen bigger companies go down for things like this. Disney, for instance, has a larger (financial) safety net than most to the point, yet it almost seems like they've set the benchmark for dealing with these situations. It's no surprise who the vocal majority of the RT sides with in issues like this, but from the business perspective, it would go against the grain for them to side with one fringe employee even with the baseless accusations because it is the status quo for most companies in this day and age. Their employees can individually come out and say it's because they want to support these victims, but in reality it is for the sake of their reputation since they rely on internet communities. Even if they deny this, Vic isn't an integral part of the company. The respective communities perhaps, but not enough for them to feasibly give him a chance to prove his innocence apparently. Which is unfortunate, but the way society is today.

I still love you Vic. I knew people have felt uncomfortable an things. They have a right to speak out about it. Vic has addressed everything he's being confronted with. I like to state that I have met Vic at a con this November, I was going to stand in a very long line to meet him and get stuff signed from because I was a big fan of his work on star trek but I had a little time before I needed to stand in line so I went to hit up artist alley when I saw Vic in the corner of my eye I stop yelled out ViC! he stops and turned around and said yes? I held out my hand and said, Vic, I'm a big fan I love your work on star trek! he looked like he was going to cry, he seemed very touch and he said to me thank you so much, for such a big star at the time I thought he would blow me off and walk away so I didn't want to take up all his time but instead he wanted to talk to me, he didn't have to do that, but he did, the man I met that day was not the monster they paint him to be he was such a nice caring man willing to give up all this time for a fan in Iowa to talk to me about star trek with me, I stan with Vic
The fact that the VA community has completely back stabbed Vic completely breaks my heart. I have been a fan of his for 10 years...since I was 12 and I have seen no ill-will from him, I have seen nothing but a genuinely kind and gentle human being who is grateful for his fans. The voice actresses that have spoken out against him, I legit think they are doing it for clout and to damage his career because they are jealous they don't have the same amount of support that he does. There are a lot of women in this panel room. If he was really the person who people say he is (i.e. Monica Rial and Jamie Marchi) then that room should be empty. Even with all of this going on he’s still being humble and kind.
Sad thing is, I don't think Vic will ever recover from this. I seen lots and lots of comments about him and they are MEAN and a few aren't even related to his allegations since some of them are glad he is getting the boot because they hate anime dubs and English voice actors...what the hell??? In this day and age, people don't want men to be innocent and they don't want to hear the possibly of Vic being innocent either. Even if proven wrongfully accused and clear of charges, nobody will ever hire Mignogna ever again out of fear of backlash from Vic haters and "victims" and I'm gonna worry about his mental health since Vic is also a devoted christian. You could tell in his last statement that this could have been his last time he could do voice acting. It is so sad to see a good man to have this sort of thing done to him. But I hope if there is a convention out there that still has him as one of their headline convention panelists, I hope they stick by him and keep him on their convention list until it is proven that he is either innocent or guilty. Whatever he goes though from now on, I hope he has a good lawyer to help him out because this man needs a fair trial.
Honestly, I don’t believe that today’s world deserves someone as kind, forgiving, and caring as Vic. He is way too good for this cruel society and he did not deserve to get mixed up in its ugliness. I’m sick of this guilty until proven innocent mentality, and even then when you’re actually proven innocent, it’s too late, people still think you’re guilty for a crime you didn’t commit. Then there’s people calling you a “rape lover” because you don’t believe the alleged victim without question. It’s like people don’t believe people would lie about this sort of thing, but it has happened in the past. I want the truth and I can’t just believe an awful story to be true just because the victim is a woman. Times need to change and there needs to be repercussions for false allegations, this shit destroys lives. So far from all the facts presented, he seems to be innocent. I hope the truth is revealed sooner rather than later.
I am so heartbroken...I met Vic at this con two years ago and he was full of life. His autograph line was hugeeee and his panel was full. I stand by Vic because these accusations need evidence or else we are unfairly condemning Vic. I want to believe the victims too, but we need to analyze both sides. The problem here is, that people think being offended is enough to call someone out as a criminal, there will be many points in everyone's life where someone will feel uncomfortable, but that doesn't mean you should go off and say you've been harassed, that's not harassment, that's just an unexpected moment where two people did not read between lines, and made things awkward. A person can look at a flat chested girl with a boy cut, and think she was a guy, it's a mistake, but not something to yell and call a bad guy for misgendering a girl that just looked like a guy! A person can hug another for a picture, and accidentally touch them in a place they shouldn't by mistake and not even notice it, doesn't mean you should call it sexual harassment, sexual harassment IMPLIES the person is attempting to do something like that, an accidental touch is NOT intentional. Giving a kiss on the cheek can even lead to an accidental kiss on the lips because if one person is not expecting it, and move around, it can happen! Giving an unwanted hug or kiss on the cheek or forehead is not sexual assault either, how many times does a family member that comes to visit randomly hug you or kiss you in greeting, consent or not? People are living in this strange, SJW world where they think they are overly empowered and can do anything if it fits certain parameters, and that's just not right, it will cause many moments of a person crying wolf, end up none showing up, to the point when there will be one, nobody will believe it, hence, the real victims will be pushed further into doubt. Also, Social media is NOT the police, if there is a real thing happening, you don't go off and shout at twitter or facebook, you handle it all in court and report to the officials, if info comes out, it gets reported before its resolved, and then mention later what happened AFTER the case is solved, when all evidence is presented and judgement is called.
Nanashi Yes, I agree with you. We should not be tossing around the word sexual harassment since there are real sexual harassment cases in this world. We would be downgrading actual victims. A simple hug and kiss on the cheek is not sexual harassment and if a fan did feel uncomfortable, they should have told him they didn’t want to be hugged. I think we need to take responsibility of our own actions and feelings and realize we cannot blame others or the world for how we feel i.e, being uncomfortable. Many things in this world are awkward or uncomfortable but we need to speak up and go forward. On top of this, hugging and kissing is a form of affection in many cultures. We should not be condemning him for being who he is. Vic hugged me and kissed my cheek and it never felt weird. I felt happy he was so excited to meet his fans. They've even stated that Vic has / had a diva personality and can be a bit haughty, but over all is a great guy. I told someone who doesn't know about this case about the hugs and the accusations and she's a touchy feely person as well. She said the very thing I was thinking, if you don't like it , just tell them, say something. It's not their intention to make you uncomfortable. Y'know having watched dozens of Vic panels here on RUclips and have been blessed enough to attend a few myself, this is just heartbreaking to watch. Vic's spirit has been broken. I agree to an extent. However, he is going to need to take responsibility and work hard for it because the big picture is that many VAs at Funi know that there were people who got hurt (don't know to what degree but still). For me, the things he can do is see a mental health therapist for a long time and get a letter of clearance to show he won't hurt anyone anymore. He also needs to write a long handwritten letter WITH HIS OWN TWO HANDS to everyone that he has ever hurt to show that he will make an effort to change and take responsibility for anything he may have done. Again people at Funimation are coming out against him, and I trust the words of his co-workers, what is important is that we all find a peaceful solution for everybody, especially the people he has affected.

Its unfair but its understandable why companies do what they do. It hurts their public image. People will think that the company condone the actions of their employee(s) by not taking any actions in reprimanding them. This in turn may cause people to no longer support the company financially.
Alternatively, people may boycott the work the employee participated in which hurt the sales. Which is why recasting characters was done. They don't want to risk loss in sales.
It's always money. If they aren't earning money from the series, they probably don't care if Vic stays or not. Heck they probably keep him because its not easy to recast the character and find someone equally as talented. But since money is involved, they will have to listen.
It is sad but it is business.

I fully support RT & others in their decision to #KickVic. As a relative newcomer with no real power in the convention world, I had heard the stories recently but was not in a place to say anything. It made me sick to my stomach & I’m glad to see that action is being taken.
I heard the stories too, but stories don't make something true. Facts do. This is someone who works for RT officially speaking out against Vic with literally no proof or reason other than hearing something bad and jumping on the bandwagon.
RT should deal with Jen's tweeting while she's employed with them, especially while they seem to be too scared to come out of their holes and issue a public opinion other than their "You're fired" letter. Because as of right now, that tweet as far as I'm concerned represents RT as a whole. They heard bad rumors and instead of taking precautious, maybe putting Vic into a position of discussion about his future with the company, they immediately left him for dead. I'm not some idiotic fangirl who won't believe what's right in front of me. I'm logical and can think for myself. While Rooster Teeth are very successful, we have seen bigger companies go down for things like this. Disney, for instance, has a larger (financial) safety net than most to the point, yet it almost seems like they've set the benchmark for dealing with these situations. It's no surprise who the vocal majority of the RT sides with in issues like this, but from the business perspective, it would go against the grain for them to side with one fringe employee even with the baseless accusations because it is the status quo for most companies in this day and age. Their employees can individually come out and say it's because they want to support these victims, but in reality it is for the sake of their reputation since they rely on internet communities. Even if they deny this, Vic isn't an integral part of the company. The respective communities perhaps, but not enough for them to feasibly give him a chance to prove his innocence apparently. Which is unfortunate, but the way society is today.

I like to state that I have met Vic at a con this November, I was going to stand in a very long line to meet him and get stuff signed from because I was a big fan of his work on star trek but I had a little time before I needed to stand in line so I went to hit up artist alley when I saw Vic in the corner of my eye I stop yelled out ViC! he stops and turned around and said yes? I held out my hand and said, Vic, I'm a big fan I love your work on star trek! he looked like he was going to cry, he seemed very touch and he said to me thank you so much, for such a big star at the time I thought he would blow me off and walk away so I didn't want to take up all his time but instead he wanted to talk to me, he didn't have to do that, but he did, the man I met that day was not the monster they paint him to be he was such a nice caring man willing to give up all this time for a fan in Iowa to talk to me about star trek with me, I stan with Vic

I have been a fan of his for 10 years...since I was 12 and I have seen no ill-will from him, I have seen nothing but a genuinely kind and gentle human being who is grateful for his fans. The voice actresses that have spoken out against him, I legit think they are doing it for clout and to damage his career because they are jealous they don't have the same amount of support that he does. I’m sick of this guilty until proven innocent mentality, and even then when you’re actually proven innocent, it’s too late, people still think you’re guilty for a crime you didn’t commit.
Then there’s people calling you a “rape lover” because you don’t believe the alleged victim without question. I am so heartbroken...I met Vic at this con two years ago and he was full of life. His autograph line was hugeeee and his panel was full. I stand by Vic because these accusations need evidence or else we are unfairly condemning Vic. I want to believe the victims too, but we need to analyze both sides. Yes Vic shouldn’t hug everyone since not everyone will be comfortable with that. But to wait until the success of Broly...you need to seek help as soon as you feel attacked or uncomfortable. The problem here is, that people think being offended is enough to call someone out as a criminal, there will be many points in everyone's life where someone will feel uncomfortable, but that doesn't mean you should go off and say you've been harassed, that's not harassment, that's just an unexpected moment where two people did not read between lines, and made things awkward. A person can look at a flat chested girl with a boy cut, and think she was a guy, it's a mistake, but not something to yell and call a bad guy for misgendering a girl that just looked like a guy! A person can hug another for a picture, and accidentally touch them in a place they shouldn't by mistake and not even notice it, doesn't mean you should call it sexual harassment, sexual harassment IMPLIES the person is attempting to do something like that, an accidental touch is NOT intentional. Giving a kiss on the cheek can even lead to an accidental kiss on the lips because if one person is not expecting it, and move around, it can happen! Giving an unwanted hug or kiss on the cheek or forehead is not sexual assault either, how many times does a family member that comes to visit randomly hug you or kiss you in greeting, consent or not? People are living in this strange, SJW world where they think they are overly empowered and can do anything if it fits certain parameters, and that's just not right, it will cause many moments of a person crying wolf, end up none showing up, to the point when there will be one, nobody will believe it, hence, the real victims will be pushed further into doubt. A simple hug and kiss on the cheek is not sexual harassment and if a fan did feel uncomfortable, they should have told him they didn’t want to be hugged. Tbh now I'm wondering what all the actors that have thrown this man under the bus would do if they were accused of this stuff....cause apparently someone could easily say that "Chris Sabat touched me in a certain area" or "Monica Rial tried to sexual assault me" put it with some photoshopped pics and apparently it works seeing as innocent till proven guilty doesn't exist anymore
People are hoping for karma for those actors, so it would be hilarious karma if that were to actually happen.
They would be like "But I was on your side..." but SJWs be like "Sorry, we don't like you anymore. Say bye bye to your career like Mr. Mignogna." Taste of their own medicine, as the saying goes.

Feel so bad for him, hope he recovers from this god knows he doesn't deserve it.
He has so much personality. I just realized after watching the entire video that he *IS* Junpei Iori from the Persona series. It had to have been a blast just to be himself for that role. He doesn't deserve all the crap he has been getting these last few years.
"We don't know him personally...we don't know what he's capable of." You know that's where you are wrong. Some people have a gift , as I call it, they just know who and what just doesn't stick well with them. How we can dislike people on principle yet have no reason not to. But then something comes along that gives those ramifications injustice. And it's more than , they're too bubbly , or too nice , or too touchy feely. It's an energy that can be felt, an aura of distinct malice or instability that makes you take a step back. I am what is known as an observer. I observe crowds and don't make the first move, sometimes for weeks or even months before I am comfortable with people. Mostly as I want to see their tolerances and intolerances. To see their moods before I go and say something or do something that makes me seem foolish. Now i'll say this, thousands of people have been hugged and yes kissed by Vic. But! You're telling me over the years of him doing this, they haven't noticed his body language, those that go to the cons, year after year or even months and haven't noticed a certain trait that makes them give pause? They've noticed Sean's inconsistencies and bipolar tendencies to be welcoming one moment and a belligerent arse the next. They've even stated that Vic has / had a diva personality and can be a bit haughty, but over all is a great guy. I told someone who doesn't know about this case about the hugs and the accusations and she's a touchy feely person as well. She said the very thing I was thinking, if you don't like it , just tell them, say something. It's not their intention to make you uncomfortable. But don't just say you don't like it just because " Well it's just weird if guys give out hugs" as if guys can't be bundles of boundless joy. Not all of us are the "we crush beer cans with our heads and we go out and do dudebro stuff!" If that's the case any hug should be weird , be consistent. Everyone wants to be equal but are not willing to put in the effort of making it so. " I want you to tell me how I should feel, or do that makes me feel equal." Thus being manipulated and making it look like you don't have a brain. Which is kind of the reason I don't make relationships, I know ...I know. not all people are like this men and women both but , anymore it's not worth looking through a needlestack trying to find a piece of hay.

On another note, I love and admire Vic’s work so much, I just wish people wouldn’t be so unfair and cruel with him..this video made me see him as a kind and generous human being who does not deserve so much hate. I wish for this man to have justice and be happy, he looked so pain at the start of this video and you can tell it by his voice and look. He doesn’t want this hate and just wants to spread positivity and love. I’m happy I got to see this video ^^
