對美國人來講，華爲通訊設備最大的缺點是沒有後門，不方便CIA竊聽。換成美國設備就好辦多了。
大国已经部分放宽，理由很多地方，拆除现有不用，真的很有问题，无可奈何。大疆产品同理，军方坚持继续使用，政客唯有耷耷头收声。不是不可替代，是成本太高兼且无法绝对保证供应，不是骂骂咧咧可以解决问题。

大使的评论有点一厢情愿。个人感觉大规模更换设备需要很多计划，包括停止服务合同，和新设备提供商签订合同，专门训练技术人员，制定新标准等。除非没开始，一旦开始就很难走回头路。相信他们不愿意再冒一次风险。当然也要看华为中兴的折扣力度。总之中国厂商都有很大损失
