It was one of the first ones i read and also lead me to be interested in enstars. def mind the trigger warnings beforehand. i got recommended to read purple wisteria of may and aquarium too! if u hav a chance to read those before its a mama story and a kanata story- it helps bring more context in meteor impact. For me I liked meteor becuz of the glimpses it brings to the past- a chiaki before the proud loud captain chiaki we know today! but yes its def a tearjerker 😢

alsoo about souma lots of characters have their speech quirks in japanese that dont carry over well lmaoo😭 usually english words spoken in japanese are written in katakana (アイドル/idol) but souma doesnt know english well so he speaks them in hiragana (あいどる/idol).... the opposite of tsukasa who know englishs very well so he speaks the english words how we know them! so in his dialogue theres always those random english words between the words we cant read.. kanata also speaks solely in hiragana and no kanji to show his slow way of speaking... its actually so interesting how everyone has their unique way of talking T_T so cuteee
