Anybody notice they had REDMAN as their DJ on that performance!!!!!
I had re-record this performance. I know another RUclips said Redman was their DJ that night, but I lost all comments left by viewers. If it was you who mentioned it earlier this summer, I'm sorry. I lost your comment.
@@culturallyurban no I wasn't me but I remember this performance like it was yesterday
Hey, all part of the Hit Squad!
Of course Reggie was there - they're rap scholars.
Yup
How many decades later and I still want EFX. Was just bumpin' Straight Up Sewaside yesterday. #Baknaffek #KaughtInDaAk
Funk Doc on the 1s and 2s?! YOOOO!
I forgot I typed in just Redman Das Efx and this video says nothing about Redman and it aimed me to see him as the DJ but I remember now llol
Yo. I’ve been looking for this. Because I remember Redman being their DJ.
HITSQUAD was in Full Effect that Night..Featuring The Funk Doctor Spock on the Ones and Twos!!!!
@David Barnes, are you sure? I was told that REDMAN was their DJ that night by two different RUclipsrs. 🤨Can you help a sista out? TY!
@@culturallyurban Yep .It's True.REDMAN was a DJ way before He Rapped!!!
Skillz!
When Hip Hop was creative with they're lyrics.
Before it morphed to Hit-Pop with them Klondike bars.
The birth of non sense mumble rapping.
I think I could hear his story. I know his mouth is too close to the mic. But mumbling rap started with Lil Wayne. Yeah, I said it.😁 Google said Gucci Man and Cheif Keef started this trend in 2012.🤣🤣
Performance is a bit inaudible cause they’re overwhelming it with adlibs… no beat/vocal breaks to let the audience call and response. But this song is beyond mumble and in my opinion lyrically intricate
Performance gets a 7/10 cause Red was the DJ. That’s fly!
@@culturallyurban I was like 12 when this came out the kids only liked it cause it was dumbed down...I'm the roper doper skimmity topeer let me get raw! The start of it.
Okay, so you are going to make re rewatch their performance with my close caption on. Give me 12 hrs. "I'll be back!"😉
@@teronward7570 the genre is literally named after “I said a hip-hop, the hippie, the hippie To the hip, hip-hop and you don't stop the rockin' To the bang-bang boogie, say up jump the boogie To the rhythm of the boogie, the beat” what are you even talking about. Just say YOU don’t understand it.
