The timeline of this movie doesn't make any sense. If Furiosa was a kid after the world was already full apocalypse then why is Max a full grown man with a wife and kid in the first movie before the world goes full apocalypse? Yet they are around the same age in Fury Road?
George Miller has never been one to care much for continuity. His Mad Max films are meant to be fables from the wasteland. Even the ending of the film is a sort of "choose your own adventure" ending. That's why actors play different characters in the same series/film. But I think Mel was actually only 21 when they filmed the first film. So it could work. The flashback of the little girl being run down by Immortan Joe in the 2015 film isn't his daughter, even though she does call him "Pa" But again, these stories don't follow typical rules for what is and isn't canon.
I like how this movie contextualized the war Rigs as The pinnacle of wasteland warfare technology basically like a post apocalyptic flagship their society depends on
Nux. and based on Nux' age in Fury Road, I would say not, I imagine when this scene took place Nux was probably half the age of the people in this room (give or take) In Fury Road, Furiosa seemed to be about 30, Nux felt about 20, so he's probably lile 10 during this scene
As a Max fan, I will give an honest accounting: Pro: Its a ride and worthy of the Mad Max title. Great movie Con: Moves WAY too quickly, Miller could EASILY have turned this into a trilogy, there's just so much history it really doesn't do itself justice cramming its story down into a single film's runtime.
