You can tell he's the type of man that is VERY particular with every little thing he does. And guarantee he did every single bit of that by himself with no help lol. Has his own unique way of doing things but it works
Thank you, I was fortunate to have had the task of restoring Walt Disney's "The Liberty Belle" paddlewheeler back in the mid 1990's. My shop was selected out of 25 i was told. Joe
Thanks Bill and Deb! That was another great video! I am so looking forward to building my own trailer based on what I seen on your videos! You guys ROCK!!!!!!
I just love watching all the different creations of everyone’s trailers. You guys are truly the best, and I love what you and deb are doing and can’t wait to get to one of these . Makes me happy to watch these videos.
Joe and Deb did a beautiful job on their CTC and meeting them was like we had known them for years. Great couple! Kim and I really enjoyed visiting with Joe and Deb.
Stunning, you are so smart both of you beautiful woodwork. To the interviewer thank you for letting the owner talk, he is full on information. Old woman here watched the entire thing. So clever , georgious
The wood craftmanship is stunningly beautiful! I don't know if I missed it, but I wish they would have brought attention to the front of the trailer at the hitch. It is at an angle. Brilliant wind deflection! I've never seen that except on my Emotion Edge Kayak, it glides through windy waves like a boat. Everything seems covered and secure. Amazing set-up, especially the grandkids, twins bedding!
the front "V" has a 32" x 32" shower pan custom cut to fit the corner. A shower curtain is used. There is no black or gray water tanks so we hang a 5 Gallon Sun Shower or a ZODI shower can be used. Zodi is no longer available however. Living room? We use the Quick Set pavillion clam for that. It is huge and has a gas ring heater for it when needed. We tent camped for 35 years with our kids. Now we r off the ground and have tables and chairs and comfy beds.
Every time I think I have seen the most amazing build ever, someone else has a whole new set of skills and fabulous, creative solutions! This is gorgeous and I appreciate the thought and planning that goes into each and every trailer. I am so impressed with the innovative answers that are used to customize each and every build. Great job! Thanks for sharing.
thank you, We have enjoyed this build and learned from the previous 2. Now we decided to build yet one more. This one will be for sale come 2nd week of October.
This couple are as amazing as there trailer build they absolutely work and build together she has fantastic taste and great ideas and he builds it and adds his artistic talents as well stunning.
I would love this build with a hydraulic bed. Underneath, I would have a seating area with one of those moving tables that would convert into a 2nd bed. So, when the main bed is up, you have a sitting area, but you can also lower the bed so it's low enough to get into, and just high enough to still have the guest bed made up underneath.
Love watching what others are doing with their trailers. We are building our 2nd trailer now. We are also recording the build.on youtube this time because so many ask. Thanks bill and deb
great trailer joe, and the misses , i have the same trailer , shower /toilet in one, but i have a king size bed, and 1 major heater , bought a 20 gal. water heater from home depot , just plug into 110v and 20 gals of hot water,
@@billanddeb Would love a king size bed in our's except "we" get up often at night as we love our tea before bed and "we" don't like to climb out of bed on the end! A queen works and we have 10" on each side, and that is better. J and D
dear Joe & Deb, Did you make a HOW TO VIDEO on your build? I LOVE THE SAFETY, AND JUST THE HORSE SENSE of what you've made there. My husband and I have found ourselves in quite a predicament, post Plandemic, and we are mow desperately needing A TINY HOME.... And, adding the mobile element to it is just fine with us, as we couldn't afford land now, to save our skin anyhow... Many folks are in our same predicament, and we have advised that they too WATCH RUclips,... As, some want to go the Motorcoach path, and others want to do the Van Life, etc... And these videos are just such a precious benefit to ALL in need, right now. We sure appreciate you both, and hope there is a BUILD VIDEO!!!!! If not, perhaps you could demonstrate some of the techniques you have used (as you did, in showing us your ladder and the fan with the lid (on the front of the unit, on the outside, that you also use to cook upon)!!! Again, THANK YOU AND A HEARTY THANKS ALSO TO : "I RIDE" Tiny House Adventure WISHING YOU AND US ALL LUCK, Johnny & Carolyn
We do have a documented listing of all aspects of the build. For example. Insulating the walls and adding 1x4's horizontally. Took 6 hours. $$$ was bla bla bla. that we offer up for $18.00 Solar panels were 700 watts of Renogy panels (4) cost was $$$. Too0k so many hours. That is what we have.
I have seen so many of these builds and they all look fantastic. Is there a reason most people use 7' wide trailers and not 8' or 8.5'? It seems to me you would have so much more room in a wider trailer.
Many do a 7 wide because it's easier to see down the side with your side mirrors while towing. Later model trucks have adjustable side mirrors that can be extended for a better view. In the case of our van though, the only thing available was mirror extensions that fit over our standard mirrors. They do work, but the magnification is different. Takes a bit of getting used too. That being said,,,,,in our case, we are very happy we went with the 8 1/2 wide the 2nd time around, and I feel comfortable towing it now after a bit of getting used too.
@@joehemmerich3840 Amazing tree. Some of them are more than 8,000 years old. I would think the wood would be extremely hard and difficult to work with. Was it? I say that not because the tree is old but because it's not tall and it's so old.
Great vid as usual . What a wonderful build. I only wish I could do the same, skill wise. But even if I had the ability, they added 3600lbs to the trailer, which I do not want to do. I have the same size trailer coming in at 1850 lbs new/empty and I only want to add 1600lbs. I am going to have to find some light weight creativeness. Cheers
Mini split , spare tire, interior walls , corner support jacks, refrigerator, etc. have weight to them. These are items we did without on the last two builds. The double axle, the solar, and solar equipment all add up to weigh whatever they weigh. We had 6 weeks of food, clothing, extra water (24 gallons ) etc. Propane tank, 6 chairs etc. Could we drop 600 #'s? most likely yes. Good luck with your build.
This rig is an amazing mix of technology, ingenuity and down home charm. A tiny masterpiece!
They did a great job
Your words are so eloquent and perfect
Absolutely stunning! I really love that bathroom door. It reminds me of an old-fashioned screen door.
The entire build is simply gorgeous!
Thank you so much!
Outstanding craftsmanship! The warmth of the wood, the well thought out floorplan, the big fridge, wow, too much to take in!
It is awesome
