yeah, these characters from K-ON! seem to be using motion capture animations that were recorded for "Guitar Hero Metallica" this motion capture was actually captured from the actual band in Motion capture suits. the bassist "Robert Trujillo" has a very unique squat thing he does on stage that looks weird when mimed by an anime girl. you can see how the animation is supposed to look right here ruclips.net/video/zIPIrrPi8zM/видео.html
