That's an interesting story of measuring the height of Mt. Logan Pat. I'm glad you were the official photographer on that scientific expedition. As usual, you produced some very good video of the whole endeavor. Ha, I'm surprised that Canada didn't know the height of its highest mountain.
thanks Jim - Gerry Holdsworth had measured Logan's height three or four decades before with GPS instruments, and using traditional trigonometric calculations came within less than a meter of our results. One thing that hasn't changed over time is that the elements are harsh and the landscape stunningly beautiful.
