It's a testament to how well-made the series was that even the deleted scenes contain good stuff! They were most likely removed due to broadcast time constraints.
Would love to see these added to an extended edition, they all add something useful to the story.

This show has got to be the best time travel show I have ever seen it deserved more than 4 seasons they could have done so much more

Nah I think it’s already perfect as it is. It could be dragged if there were more episodes.

    "MUST BE GENETIC."
    THE IRONY.
ETA: Some of these deleted scenes are quite good. Young Ramse killing that scav and calling him brother. Deacon's anxiety attack. Cole beating up a punching bag after Ramse's death.... I FELT that.

Weirdest thing about this whole series it´s that they finished filming it just one year before the start of the global pandemic.

Gotta admit. I wish Casserole had more screen time with Athan, it was cut way too short and it annoyed me so much when they killed him off, but I appreciated seeing that family reunion moment between Cole, Hannah and Jones. Lastly I would've liked to have seen Hannah with Cole's father so there was hope for Cole to be reborn somehow. Fact which Cole ends up in Cassie's final scene had all of us confused. Like she had no one. Sean was always the plot device to rival Casserole and their intimate relationship just like Deacon had feelings for Cassie and Cole knew that but Cassie was torn between both of them. Anyway. I'm glad Deacon ended with Jennifer. Ramsey got his happy ending with Sam. Hannah got hers with her parents. But Casserole was like a loophole and plothole whichever you look at it. That's the odd one out. It doesn't make sense as to why she remembers him as he remembers her at their 50s home. Js, IMHO 🤔😕

The reason that Cole is back is because Time owns him (it's implied throughout the series that it is sentient). He helped it to return to normal and untangle the loops. In season 2 "Lullaby" we see him and Cassie stuck in the same day because it needed Hannah to survive and then giving birth to Cole, for him to eventually complete the loop and erase himself. This was the only way for Time to be fixed. Another reason might be that Jones also changed the calculations, erasing all versions of Cole except for the very last one, and then Time spitting him out back to the new timeline. This is the only way Cole can exist, because he is a product of time travel, Hannah can't give birth to him because she would need a time machine for that. So Time itself let Cole and Cassie get a happy ending they deserved. Remember, Time loves humans, they help it think.
There is also a theory that it is actually the Red Forest and Cassie decided to destroy the time. (personally I don't think Cassie did it, most of the thing i stated above pointed otherwise)
As for Cassie remembering Cole, they all took the serum that makes time pass around them. Even though they erased the time line they have the ability to still remember it. An example of that happening is in Season 2 "Memory of Tomorrow", when Cole erased the timeline where he and Cassie were living in a house of Cedar and Pine by traveling to the past through Time itself. Initially Cassie couldn't remember that timeline, but when they went to Titan the mention of a butterfly "Not every caterpillar becomes a butterfly" triggered Cassie to remember the erased timeline (because during Christmas Cole gave he a butterfly hair pin). Thus in theory, everyone who took the serum can remember the erased looped timeline where they all knew Cole. They just need a strong trigger for it. I think in an interview with the creator of the series it is confirmed that they all eventually remember Cole.

There a comment made by cassie in this season where she went to the funeral to get the invitation. And she mention that all religion and cults mention promise the same thing something beyond this. Evolution promises the same thing too but its more physical :) And that not true all religion dont promise the same thing.
