Had to take a day to digest all the mud slinging. I suppose because we follow you, Project Portugal and IP we were caught completely off guard by the drama. Being a new youtuber myself you have to have a thick skin when it comes to social media and when following channels you become almost invested emotionally with the people and channels you follow. Of course the well will fill up in autumn. Summer is nearly over. The summer drought and heat were perfectly normal for the south of Europe. Nothing new. People should turn of their tel lie vision.

I am so sorry for some people's behavior towards you and project Portugal... You don't fight hate with hate, specially with no reason for it! Doing this and exposing private conversations only shows the kind of person he is and brings nothing good to someone that needs peace. Also, makes him no better than the ones he criticizes. The wine when boiling cleans it self, solid part on top, liquid on bottom. You can poor the clean wine out the big bucket with a tap on the bottom. This clean wine is the best quality, then you squeeze the solid part and get a second quality wine with many solid particles. I'm afraid the way you did the wine kept all cloudy and must rest longer and change bowls time to time to remove solid particles on the botom. Advice, talk to your neighburs and watch them doing every step. Cheers.

So glad you have relief from the heat. Your greenhouse looks great. I have had similar kits and find one caution: the shelving works best if tied down with zip ties or cord. So lovely to see you working and building your happy life. Can I ask if anything much is growing beneath your oak trees? I think the tannins in the fallen leaves can be very acidic and, with time, can make the soil somewhat hostile for many plants. You may need to balance the acidity in your garden soil, if you plan to continue using oak leaves for mulch. ....'Just a thought, with the hopes of being helpful, not critical.
Helo o Awstralia :) I don't know if you've already done this or not but, put some stones ( decent size stones) to pin down that greenhouse. You will need to anchor it down. I don't know how far the tree is but maybe tie a strap over the greenhouse, they are wonderful (yes had one) but they are quite flimsy in a strong wind. Caru'r sianel
It’s so much fun Peter! We both actually used to work in the wine industry so it’s always been an interest, we also worked a harvest in Germany a few years ago. It’s still a steep learning curve
Once again, very nice video, thank you ! A small question I've been wanting to ask you for a while : why don't you rehabilitate the little stone house on your land as a living space ? Is it a question of legislation ? Thank you for tour answer 🙏❤
It’s on the list! Our plan is to be sleeping in the barn by next summer. It’s mostly finances to be honest, the roof will cost €1.5k and we need to get that done before we start on the floor and walls really.
@@FrankieOffGrid Thank you very much for your answer! I thought I had heard or understood that you could not use this house. Great project! I'm French, and I'm considering living off-grid in Spain (my origins) and I have a lot of questions about what is legal or not on rural land... Thanks to both of you for helping me with my thoughts ✨
Hi Theo, possibly in the future, at the moment i don’t think it’s possible for us to sell it and ship it. The plan is to plant a lot more vines and start selling them. Watch this space 😅
Nice content guys. Wouldn't it help to start the wine clarification by using a screen in the press? Simple fix, if you heat up the bottom of the funnel and press into the demi-johns a few inches I know from experience you'll avoid those frustrating 'boil overs' and loosing some of that hard won fermented wine product. Alternatively a simple wooden holder to support the funnel. Great to know you've had some rain recently, must be a relief.
Ooh that’s a good idea! I’ll have a good look into this. So far I’ve just used gravity and racked it a couple of times once it’s cleared up. I like this idea though.
@@FrankieOffGrid If you use a screen you’ll probably have to press to get all the goodness. Love watching your content, my name (Ian) has the same meaning (God is gracious) as Iwan and I was born at Prestatyn Hospital so we have some linkage. I am 70 so sadly no commonality there :(.

@@FrankieOffGrid marvellous Idea. ❤️
Must be such a joy making your own wine, how did you learn to make wine ??. Great vid as usual..
It’s so much fun Peter! We both actually used to work in the wine industry so it’s always been an interest, we also worked a harvest in Germany a few years ago. It’s still a steep learning curve
Iwan should put his bicycle seat up at least six inches.
No chance 😅 if it was a road bike then maybe..
Absolutely do not let those mud slingers get to you. Just carry on as normal. Ignore them. Not right in the head those two.
He couldn’t get to us if he tried… significance is all he wants.
Great video !!!
Thanks James!
Just an observation, your seats on the bike need to be higher as the elongated leg only needs a slight bend, position almost straight ,)
I think that setup is mostly for road bikes, you’d be in some pain riding our track while sitting down.
@@FrankieOffGrid Yes l was coming from a road bike point of view.
The best music..samba!
I love how the cats *kinda* hangout :D
Nice muzik,and may be wine?
I love your videos!
when the wine is ready can we buy a bottle . would be nice .we hope to hear from you
Hi Theo, possibly in the future, at the moment i don’t think it’s possible for us to sell it and ship it. The plan is to plant a lot more vines and start selling them. Watch this space 😅
I wonder what putting Iwan's tshirt in the bucket of stems and seeds would do. Mottled pattern?
Another amazing video this week, but can i say the music was sooo loud i was having to adjust volume every time between speech and non speech times quite significantly 😖 - enough to go back a few times because i missed what was said. Stay safe through theweather change.
Sorry about that Deborah, I totally forgot in the final edit to turn the music back down 🙈 hope it wasn’t too uncomfortable to watch and hopefully it’ll remind me to always check in future videos!
I love seeing what you do every week and the music you choose and can see there is always a great effort put into your presentation ❤
I just can't get over your "views" to "subscribers" ratio. They are so close !!
My other channels have LOTS more views than subscribers ... Great job kids 😊 I can call you kids because I'm 70 LOL 🤣😀
What about this vintage being called Castello del Diogo? 🤣 the Aqua-dente can be Frankie-no-sense
Love it! We were thinking animals for the labels.
"What will we do with all this wine?" Uhm drink it I guess? ;-)
Hi Frankie from the south of Portugal you better batten down the hatches for this week 🌞
Looks like fun ey?! Can’t wait for the rain!
Gwyh iawn ,excellent video . diolch yn fawr xx
Diolch i ti Aron! ❤️❤️
Hi guys, did you add Camden tablets or yeast to your wine? Thanks 😊
Heyy! No we don’t add anything and don’t take anything out of it - All natural.
@@FrankieOffGrid thank you I was just checking before I butchered ours 🤣
There’s so many things that can go wrong! Good luck! If you want any advice or photos from my wine bible let me know, send us an email maybe?
@@FrankieOffGrid brilliant thank you 😊
Hello could I have the name of this green house it’s nice tyalso that looks like fun making wine :-)
Hi Kelleena, I don’t actually know the name of it sorry.
@@FrankieOffGrid it’s ok I found something similar but ty :-)
May as well start trying your hand at dying t-shirts!! LOL!!
😂 I know right?! Hope a boil wash fixes it!
@@FrankieOffGrid Hah hah!! I know its not organic!! But shop bought stain remover does wonders!!

So far so good! We’ve just put some lettuce and onions in. Not too sure what else yet.
