This is my next phone. I don't take selfies, so full-screen is much better for me. I love the unique design, rectangle, programmable button, and almost stock android OS. The cherry on the cake for me is the 6000 MAH battery. Finally a real effortless 2 day phone

So basically this is the phone i imagined at age 13 when i was visiting my grandma. I drew a pretty regtangle phone (still with a a slight cuve licke the Nubia) with all Display and no front camera vivible. I also drew 4 Cameras and i said that it would have a i7 Prozessor (ok that's off but the corecount's that i drew on the spec sheet right next to the drawing where pretty accurate to rhe 8 gen 3). And i even predicted the under display fingerprint. That was way back in 2014, i envioniend the future so accurate that i can basically buy my dream phone now. Im flabbergasted!
I was expecting a good phone, but it got better. Much better than any available today. Then take it to compare it to an s24 and a 15 pro max. You'll see that they don't stand a chance. There is 1 problem that it is a bit difficult.
I have z60 ultra for 2 days now, also Iphone 14 and S23 at home, in my opinion de Nubia takes better photos than the other 2 in automatic. I haven't tested video or promote yet. About the under display camera I do think they have improved it a lot, coming from a ZTE axon 40 the differences are quite noticiable forbthe better.
Very interested in your opinion of its camera. Also how is the os? Does it include a desktop mode at all? The 1tb 24gb version is tempting me this year. Never do selfies so not seeing the notch is awesome.
@@mcmc-o9w running fantastic for me. Its not stock Android though. Thats the good point as it offers many useful features. Not as powerful as the chinese rom version but enough for my every day to day tasks.

I thought the photos compared to the iphone. Comes down to preference . The good news is all the bugs can be addressed and fix3d in software update. I mean 6,000mah battery, 80w charging, no notch like astock android for $800 is a steal.

As far as iphone im aware they've always been crowned the king but frankly idk i would never touch an iphone. Ive been rocking android sense the beginning. Glad to here it competes with the pixel 8. I am not good at taking selfies, I am more into typing and gaming, so with a battery this size, a neat clean screen with a hidden selfie camera, is a great phone to use for either watching a movie or anything, and playing video games, for taking pictures, it's okay if it takes time to deliver a good photo, it's ideally a great phone in my opinion 👌🏻

That is absolutely stupid from Nubia Edit: I actually went down the rabbithole of methods to unlock Nubia Z60 Ultra, found out that even the Z50 was locked down, and Redmagic 8s Pro devs found a way to unlock it after a ton of effort. Essentially Nubia is fucking their customers on purpose.
Put a extendable storage option as well and make all variants kf the phone available all over the world instead of giving only china the largest ram and rom options
There is something wrong with your camera video sample. This looks like no stabilisation enabled. See my videos and with EIS enabled it crops a bit in but has superb stabilisation. Only 8k 30 fps and 4k 120fps ommits stabilisation in video. Also I am unable to reproduce your focus issues. My devices focusses fine and precise without any pumping or hunting. That is why in my recent video it is able to compete against the best of the best camera flagships and saves a spot amongst them in my ranking list.
I noticed the video was made around Christmas time it looks like so I'd bet it has received updates that should improve the phone, for around $600 I think it's the best buy for a good quality phone.
AI perforamance in antutu was on top of everything. Gcam and geliosoft can improve selfie and with better upsampling AI techniques & progress , the result can change alot in coming two years
the hope is that if Chinese version of software is said to be much better, they will catch it up with global versions as well at some point. Hardware wise it is strong, I have seen comments on burn ins in displays for previous versions. , biggest thing to worry

3 years android software , so at least 3 versions and 3 years of security update which is enough ad after 3 years, we should really change phones to sth new, again in flagship killer section with half price of Top dogs
Such huge cameras on the back, but too many issues. It looks like this phone looks nice, but I think it is a bit sick at the moment, and needs to heal. Many next versions will be better

Yeah somehow I think he might have a faulty device as the battery drain, focus issues, stabilisation issues and frame rate issues are strange. I also have the global version and none of those issues.

Audio performance is good. Better even than the one on the predecessor which had 2 speakers and did not use the earpiece as speaker. Especially the bass and fullness of the sound is quite good. But it cannot compete with Xiaomi 14 Pro or Galaxy S23 Ultra or iPhone 15 Pro Max
global version seems to have battery drain more than chinese ROM maybe because of unneeded high watt usage for SOC. also camera AF plus exposure contrast issues and Telephoto results are weaker than chinese one too. for camera, Always use "street" mode as this is where nubia team optimise camera. everyone is using Gcam bigkak 8.8 and above as it delivers much profound zoom photos and HDR is working correctly and the result is now on par with flagships. anyway, nubia needs software OTA to fix these asap. Z50s pro didn't have these problems
Can someone please share their opinion (who has the phone), about the display quality and resolution. Would be a big difference between this and a S22 Ultra?
As someone who has essentially this phone but a few generations older(Axon 30 5g) The main difference you will notice is the lack of a bullet hole camera cut out. I genuinely cannot go back to having one, the presence of a camera hole bothers me too much now. Granted this is more due to my particular use case being mostly using my phone to read/watch stuff, but I have held off getting a new phone until ZTE launched another UDC phone in the US to buy a new phone because I like having a full screen too much now. I think of it like this: worst case scenario would you rather have a slightly higher res screen with a cluster of dead pixels or a screen with no dead pixels? The only reason I don't have one yet is it sold out too fast.
I have this phone since 2 days now and I can tell that the screen is amazing and you almost can't see a difference between it and the s23 ultra, the only downside is the OS I think as it's not the best in market

Good news. I also have the global version and don't suffer from those camera issues. No focus hunting issue and no stabilisation issues and great cameras that can compete against the top ones from other brands. Just the front cam is miserable.

I think it's not a problem. Usually in case of need for repair you order a courier to your home, he will pick up the goods at the company's expense and then send you the repaired device

Io ho il 16gb preso con la promozione, ma vanno benissimo anche i 12 sono comunque tanti, il telefono è un fulmine, è davvero impressionante qualità prezzo. Se ti serve qualche altra informazione o hai altre curiosità chiedimi✌🏻
Lo z50 non lo conosco, però lo z60 per me si comporta molto bene, hai vari settaggi come la super stabilizzazione e avendo l ois su tutte le lenti puoi sfruttarle tutte per riprendere con aperture focali differenti in base alla tua preferenza, io lo sto confrontando ad un pixel 8 del quale ne sono ancora possessore e devo dire che è più stabile hai anche l'anti shake,con piacere noto che è meno scattoso, la messa a fuoco è sempre corretta a parte in rare occasioni dove l ho visto indeciso con la ripresa a 18mm, puoi arrivare a registrare fino in 8k che è tanta roba anche se a 30fps e non stabilizzata. In ogni caso se lo compri, puoi provarlo e se non ti dovesse piacere entro 14 giorni ti fanno il reso dei soldi.
Mamma mia non ci posso credere, come hai fatto a fare una recensione del genere, cambio una media di 4 top di gamma all anno sono un appassionato di Smartphone, sto usando da 4 giorni questo fantastico capolavoro di telefono, solo per l estetica andrebbe votato come il migliore di tutto il 24!!! Erano anni che non mi emozionavo così, per i selfie non rompere c'è tanta gente che non vive come me assolutamente di quello o se ho bisogno giro il telefono e scatto a 50 con ois in grandangolo e batto tutti. Le camere sono fantastiche realizzo scatti per lavoro a prima impensabili, e sono un fan pixel, ma purtroppo difronte a quest' erisoluxioni e l ois su tutte le camere quest' smartphone è semplicemente il top, se non lo capisco cambia lavoro non fare recensioni, in più non si scarica mai, non si surriscalda mai tranne che con la carica a 80w, 4 ore di hotspot consumata pochissima batteria e sempre freddo un miracolo, 30 minuti di fotocamera arriva tra foto e video sempre freddo, consumata pochissima batteria, prova se riesci a fare tutto questo con un Samsung pixel o iPhone, senza afarli diventare dei forni per la pizza... Simpaticamente ti affiderei ma abito in Italia e siamo troppo lontani. Accusati però con quei 4 gatti che seguono le tue recensioni perché se dici che è un medio gamma non sai nulla di tecnologia, spari troppe opinioni personali, per te la tua donna magari è bellissima mentre per me è la più brutta del mondo, ma mica lo sbadiero ai quattro venti, devi essere professionale e obbiettivo, non hai nemmeno menzionato la camera di vapore aerospaziale ... My opinion, let's say, s23 has everything, rog more for gaming, iphone xiaomi for photo video bla bla bla, z60 what s23 already has but not superb with affordable price.
GCam can produce some better processed images. But in general the photos are not bad. Turn on Street mode and FJ100 filter (Fujifilm actually) and be happy with film like shots. Or even the more processed normal photo mode produces strong photos.
2:10 This is a building piece of sh*t. It has nothing to do with reality. I also compared it to the 15 pro max and the s24, which have no chance against it. I could list the video's flaws, but there's so much bullsh*t in it that it doesn't make sense. This phone is not like that at all. The camera does not accidentally stand out so much from the device, it is much better than any phone available today. I would like to highlight the selfie camera, which is to incomparably good.
So why weren't you saying this when the Z50 Ultra was released (iPhone whatever phone killer)? It's the same phone with the SD Gen 3. That's really the only difference. You RUclipsr's are wired...
Its really no different from the 50. I have the 50. All they did with this is move the cameras around, moved the slider switch up. 50 is fine. Buy that for cheaper or buy a xiomi 14 pro if you have another 100 to spend. Better cameras front and back, wireless charge, no real bugs to deal with, water and dust protection as well. Zte has a long way to go. Copying last years fone isn't it
let down... just as much as the z50s pro... if you have the GOBAL version you dont get the zte photo gallery. that means you cant save slow motion videos as the global versions use google photo's. ultrawide is pretty weak as wekk.. the axon 30 ultra had a much better ultra wide camera .... so many issues with global versions of both ... no one will talk about it though ...how strange

Actually it is not that bad. Yeah you are missing the ZTE Photo Gallery App (maybe someone can share it here). But the cameras are working fine so far. The ultrawide angle is a definite improvement over the Z50S Pro.

Such huge cameras on the back, but too many issues. It looks like this phone looks nice, but I think it is a bit sick at the moment, and needs to heal. Many next versions will be better
As for as the software is concerned, does it have an unlocked bootloader? Even with no updates from them, we can flash our own ROM.
No unlocked bootloader, I was wondering the same with the 2 years software update. That was the deal breaker for me.

Yeah somehow I think he might have a faulty device as the battery drain, focus issues, stabilisation issues and frame rate issues are strange. I also have the global version and none of those issues.

Audio performance is good. Better even than the one on the predecessor which had 2 speakers and did not use the earpiece as speaker. Especially the bass and fullness of the sound is quite good.
But it cannot compete with Xiaomi 14 Pro or Galaxy S23 Ultra or iPhone 15 Pro Max

global version seems to have battery drain more than chinese ROM maybe because of unneeded high watt usage for SOC. also camera AF plus exposure contrast issues and Telephoto results are weaker than chinese one too.
for camera, Always use "street" mode as this is where nubia team optimise camera.
everyone is using Gcam bigkak 8.8 and above as it delivers much profound zoom photos and HDR is working correctly and the result is now on par with flagships.
anyway, nubia needs software OTA to fix these asap. Z50s pro didn't have these problems
I think there is something wrong with his unit as my global version does perform nice in terms of camera, stabilisation, AF and so on.

Can someone please share their opinion (who has the phone), about the display quality and resolution. Would be a big difference between this and a S22 Ultra?
As someone who has essentially this phone but a few generations older(Axon 30 5g) The main difference you will notice is the lack of a bullet hole camera cut out. I genuinely cannot go back to having one, the presence of a camera hole bothers me too much now. Granted this is more due to my particular use case being mostly using my phone to read/watch stuff, but I have held off getting a new phone until ZTE launched another UDC phone in the US to buy a new phone because I like having a full screen too much now. I think of it like this: worst case scenario would you rather have a slightly higher res screen with a cluster of dead pixels or a screen with no dead pixels? The only reason I don't have one yet is it sold out too fast.
I have this phone since 2 days now and I can tell that the screen is amazing and you almost can't see a difference between it and the s23 ultra, the only downside is the OS I think as it's not the best in market

Good news. I also have the global version and don't suffer from those camera issues. No focus hunting issue and no stabilisation issues and great cameras that can compete against the top ones from other brands. Just the front cam is miserable.

Io sono interessato avevo lo z50s pro e video facevano schifissimo. Questo come gira i video?
Lo z50 non lo conosco, però lo z60 per me si comporta molto bene, hai vari settaggi come la super stabilizzazione e avendo l ois su tutte le lenti puoi sfruttarle tutte per riprendere con aperture focali differenti in base alla tua preferenza, io lo sto confrontando ad un pixel 8 del quale ne sono ancora possessore e devo dire che è più stabile hai anche l'anti shake,con piacere noto che è meno scattoso, la messa a fuoco è sempre corretta a parte in rare occasioni dove l ho visto indeciso con la ripresa a 18mm, puoi arrivare a registrare fino in 8k che è tanta roba anche se a 30fps e non stabilizzata.
In ogni caso se lo compri, puoi provarlo e se non ti dovesse piacere entro 14 giorni ti fanno il reso dei soldi.

Mamma mia non ci posso credere, come hai fatto a fare una recensione del genere, cambio una media di 4 top di gamma all anno sono un appassionato di Smartphone, sto usando da 4 giorni questo fantastico capolavoro di telefono, solo per l estetica andrebbe votato come il migliore di tutto il 24!!! Erano anni che non mi emozionavo così, per i selfie non rompere c'è tanta gente che non vive come me assolutamente di quello o se ho bisogno giro il telefono e scatto a 50 con ois in grandangolo e batto tutti. Le camere sono fantastiche realizzo scatti per lavoro a prima impensabili, e sono un fan pixel, ma purtroppo difronte a quest' erisoluxioni e l ois su tutte le camere quest' smartphone è semplicemente il top, se non lo capisco cambia lavoro non fare recensioni, in più non si scarica mai, non si surriscalda mai tranne che con la carica a 80w, 4 ore di hotspot consumata pochissima batteria e sempre freddo un miracolo, 30 minuti di fotocamera arriva tra foto e video sempre freddo, consumata pochissima batteria, prova se riesci a fare tutto questo con un Samsung pixel o iPhone, senza afarli diventare dei forni per la pizza... Simpaticamente ti affiderei ma abito in Italia e siamo troppo lontani.
Accusati però con quei 4 gatti che seguono le tue recensioni perché se dici che è un medio gamma non sai nulla di tecnologia, spari troppe opinioni personali, per te la tua donna magari è bellissima mentre per me è la più brutta del mondo, ma mica lo sbadiero ai quattro venti, devi essere professionale e obbiettivo, non hai nemmeno menzionato la camera di vapore aerospaziale ... I don’t think so :)
GCam can produce some better processed images. But in general the photos are not bad. Turn on Street mode and FJ100 filter (Fujifilm actually) and be happy with film like shots.
Or even the more processed normal photo mode produces strong photos.

2:10 This is a building piece of sh*t. It has nothing to do with reality. I also compared it to the 15 pro max and the s24, which have no chance against it. I could list the video's flaws, but there's so much bullsh*t in it that it doesn't make sense. This phone is not like that at all. The camera does not accidentally stand out so much from the device, it is much better than any phone available today. I would like to highlight the selfie camera, which is to incomparably good.

So why weren't you saying this when the Z50 Ultra was released (iPhone whatever phone killer)? It's the same phone with the SD Gen 3. That's really the only difference. You RUclipsr's are wired...
Its really no different from the 50. I have the 50. All they did with this is move the cameras around, moved the slider switch up. 50 is fine. Buy that for cheaper or buy a xiomi 14 pro if you have another 100 to spend. Better cameras front and back, wireless charge, no real bugs to deal with, water and dust protection as well. Zte has a long way to go. Copying last years fone isn't it

4k120fps can do a great slow-mo
4k 120fps on all lenses which is quite unique. Only Sony and the ZTE Axon 40 Ultra have this.
let down... just as much as the z50s pro... if you have the GOBAL version you dont get the zte photo gallery. that means you cant save slow motion videos as the global versions use google photo's. ultrawide is pretty weak as wekk.. the axon 30 ultra had a much better ultra wide camera .... so many issues with global versions of both ... no one will talk about it though ...how strange

Actually it is not that bad. Yeah you are missing the ZTE Photo Gallery App (maybe someone can share it here). But the cameras are working fine so far. The ultrawide angle is a definite improvement over the Z50S Pro.
