I made a very popular video a few months ago i made a video with the 10 best flight simulators in Roblox with Pilot training flight simulator at first place and FLIGHTLINE on seconds, and i got a lot of comments about those 2, so i decided to compare them. Here you go! :D

tbh we shall stop the competition. both are at like the same level. for the new ppl in the aviation, ptfs is better because of the controls and physics, and the way it's easier to fly and land and takeoff. for aviation geeks who knows a lot about aviation, flightline is better due to more realistic controls, aerodynamics and other realistic stuff. let's accept that some of us likes ptfs and other some of us likes flightline the most.

I totally agree. It's not a fact that flightline is a better game. Neither PTFS. Both of them should be respected.

If u ask me flightline has such good physics and smoothness while ptfs has more gamepasses like u need 60 RBX for just an atc gamepass while flightline has almost no gamepasses just about everything is free including atc

Flightline barely has any planes, its been in beta for so long and still very less amount of planes, also 60 robux isnt even that much + it includes free cam and all the gamepasses in ptfs are actually good for a gamepass, thats how games are supposed to make robux.

I mean considering when this video was uploaded, it was months before PTFS had major updates including flaps, gear tilts and so much more. But I honestly think both games are really good!

both ptfs and flightline is amazing, in their own ways. ptfs is perfect with people new to aviation. in the other hand, flightline is good for people who are experienced with aviation. i am new to aviation, so thats why i play ptfs. but, i still play flightline, but its just kinda hard to me. also, props to the guy for printing out all those comments
PTFS: has many planes easy to fly, tilted landing gear, flaps, reverse thrust (not animated) Has ATC (Air Traffic Control) Ground Crew, Interior and cockpit. (FULL RELEASE)
Graphic: Basic (less lag and available for all device)
Flightlines: Limited plane, Hard to fly (not to hard), Tilted Landing gear, Suspension, Flaps, Spoiler (air brake), reverse thrust (animated), ATC (Air Traffic Control) and Cockpit (for some plane). (BETA)
Graphic: Realistic (PC ONLY)
Guys lets just stick to our opinions because PTFS is updating a lot now and most of the players I see nowadays are people who actually don't fool around. But both games are pretty good.
I pick Flight line just because of the gear tilt that you can make a smoooooth landing and the animation😄

the only reason why i play ptfs more then flightline is bc it has a bigger community, otherwise flightline is just better

The reason people more likely choose flight line is because of the realism and for the people who didnt know already ptfs is more based of of a sandbox and game and th3y just wanna give players an opportunity to do alot of stuff and flight line is more realistic based and from the comments people more like realism so i can understand why people choose flight line and i like ptfs more but that is my opinion.

Flightline is more like MSFS and PTFS more like Infinity flight and RFS combined
To settle the sort of beef:
Flight line is more realistic and advanced but Complicated. It focuses on the realism and physics. PTFS, however, focuses on simplistic gameplay to make it less complicated. Honestly, I think both games are really good so I won’t choose a side.

PILOT TRAINING FLIGHT SIMULATOR also has an advanced mode, you can activate it by pressing z

@@gdtxxq0620 yeh, rp is the point of ptfs, and its easy to handle because its for training, flightline is better because of the harder controls that make it more realistic, sadly theres no ground crew, making the rp more less.

I seriously don’t understand how people find ptfs ‘realistic’. The sounds are so awful and there aren’t even spoilers. And Pft, no gear animation. How is that even realistic-
But it does have a pretty nice and large map but then again flight line is in beta mode, therefore it’s not finished.
@Canadian Leafso? Other games have gear animation and they aren’t even that laggy. A good computer will handle it unless you’re playing on a shit one.

FLIGHTLINE: 5 PLANES, 5 MAPS, FLAPS, GEAR ANIMATION, AUTOPILOT, HARD TO CONTROL, ONLY 2 PLANES HAVE A ORIGINAL COPKICK, 1 plane have 5 AIRWAYS
PTFS: 73 PLANE, 15 RUNWAYS, MORE AIRWAYS, NO GEAR ANIMATION, NO FLAPS AND AUTOPILOT, GOOD GRAPHIC, EASY CONTROL, CAN DO WHAT WANT, CAN DO RP
Who said that you cant do what you want and rp at Flightline? + its not hard to control...
FLIGHTLINE: Phenomenal Graphics, good physics, really realistic
PTFS: Graphics are meh, trash physics, ok realistic, when you’re flying and you press 5 your plane shuts down, for kids that don’t know shit about aviation
FLIGHTLINE is definitely better for people that are more serious into aviation.
PTFS is for kids.
FLIGHTLINE is still in BETA, nobody is suposed to judge any game while it is on Early Acess/Alpha/BETA

Flight line is actually meant for rping dumbass.
Even though PTFS has more things, flight line is still in beta mode, therefore it isn’t finished. It was made in 12/21/2012. Where as ptfs was created in 1/4/2010. People have lives therefore that’s why flight line isn’t as updated as much as ptfs, it was also made 2 years before flight line. Let’s not forget that Flightline is also created by one person.
Flightline has WAY better graphics than shitty ptfs.
Flightline is meant for role players and people who actually want to learn how to fly.
Ptfs is meant for little kids who just want to have fun and don’t know anything about planes.
Lastly, what the actual fuck do you mean ‘ 5 maps ‘.

Now sadly for PTFS, both of them are flight simulators and we're talking about which one is the best simulation in most case, (even if PTFS was for me extremely entertaining when I was younger and probably still is) Flightline like you said is the best simulator, I don't know if its takes time to work alone or just doesn't put as much time on flightline as a perfect version of it would require, we need more waypoints, better VNAV, !!! A WAY BETTER SCENARY AND MAP !!!, and more planes (liveries are just details, the most important is what I just said before since they are a key in realism) PTFS is slowly catching in realism part, giving a huge point to them while Flightline has not changed that much since i started playing back in early 2020. PTFS already has thousand of players and can be enjoyed by anyone in roblox aviation community while FL has a lot of potential but just don't take the chance of finally be capable to be the first result when searching "FlightLine" (ptfs show up first yes) even if i am no one to judge how jay manage his game, i really think he should work more atleast on the map, this could attract way more people and make the experience better. For exemple in aeronautica you can do a proper climb and decent and on top of that with a cruising that doesn't last 3 minutes. If you could have flights that takes 40 minutes from one end of the map to an other with lot of islands or continant and airport (again aeronautica style) flightline could be dominating.
to be honest, I don't really think any of PTFS feature would complete the needed part of FL, i think aeronautica would, jay should think about that (btw still ncie jobs to the ptfs dev's for all the liveries because i don't know any games with more liveries)

If you can, you can fly for hours in flightline, no need to just take off from the taxiway, land and speed to the gate
I love both Flight Sims on Roblox, they both are so good and have gone on the front page may times. But, I pick PTFS. Hold on, Hold on. I'm not saying I don't like Flightline but I feel like the Development of FL Compared to PTFS Might let PTFS Catch up to it in Realism. I grew up with PTFS and to see where it was before just blows me away on how far the game has come. With Sam (Coder for PTFS) saying they have something huge coming next week/in two weeks makes me think, "If tilted gears, new planes and new weather systems are big, what's HUGE?" Im more into the future of these Fight Sims and PTFS will certainly get more updates in the time Flightline will get 2 updates. But hey, You never know. Sorry for the ramble lol.

Oh, I am sorry but I do not. That screen is new so it did not exist when I recorded this. I am so sorry. Maybe you can check the settings or keybindings in the game?

In terms of being a real flight simulator.
Flightline is the most realistic with the best modeled planes.
However PFTS is way easier.
I have been playing PTFS for a very long time dont see any issues but flight line is too realistic and is quite hard also its just complicated to navigate around

flightline is definitely one of the most easiest realistic games out there, if you find that hard forget about getting msfs or xplane

The truth is that PTFS is better because its a lot bigger, more than double the ammount of planes, and its actually MORE REALSITIC.

This is just my opinion. Please don’t take this seriously. I think flightline is good cus it has no gamepasses but, it has a small range of planes unlike ptfs. But it’s definitely more realistic

PTFS has more scenery, but FlightLine has better weather. PTFS has more planes, but FLightLine has more realistic planes. PTFS is more optimized, but FlightLine looks better. Each have their own advantages and disadvantages. So in conclusion, PTFS = FlightLine.

Ptfs is better tough bc at flightline to control is heavy and hard to land
ptfs is designed to be easy because of the name itself, “pilot training flight simulator”, for completely newbies who dont know a single thing about aviation, ptfs is better, for people who understand aviation, flightline is better, i personally like flightline because of the more serious rp, ptfs is more of a normal rp.
I totally agree even tho i understand aviation pretty well and i still enjoy ptfs, it just makes me a little calm.
