The way the crowd went quite after the 1st goal from Madrid I think was the main reason we lost it was so quite I was more pissed off with our fans than the players. They needed our support at that time and we let them down completely to be so loud after the 2nd goal and then complete silence when we concided played in to our downfall
I think it should be the other way around. They lost because it was an absolute abysmal performance by Liverpool. Fans had nothing to with it. Definitely the worst performance of the year, and there have been some bad performances. How are you not ready to play RM, at home in the Champions League? Top four? Doubt it. Okay calmly speaking ( lol not really ), why does klopp keep playing gomez! Against smaller teams he makes mistakes but because of the quality we don’t get punished as such, against big teams he ALWAYS does something and ends up getting taken off everytime!!
Alison has been our best player this season! I’d never say drop him but he does tend to make these mistakes a bit too often. It doesn’t help when he keeps getting put into dangerous positions from our outfield players inability to read situations!
2-0 is the worst score for us! I remember the days when we use to go up and there was zero chance of the opposition getting back in! Now we seem to think we’ve won and go down a gear every time!
We need to stop being proud and singing and cheering regardless off the situation! We have to start letting the team know what we think and more importantly the owners! Singing and cheering these owners think it’s all good aslong as they are making their money. These owners have been draining the club and hiding it behind good management and stadium development. That doesn’t cut it
I wouldn't say we were totally dominating when we were at top level the past few seasons - we were getting there but now e have dipped. That progress towards domination has now gone. Something went wrong last summer and we have not had many decent signings. If you notice, our pressing game isn't as effective and we are also using way too much energy. Real Madrid bided their time and slowly and quietly came back to dominate. There was nothing special about them - just much more composed and self-assured in their technique. In the 2nd half you could see how they were passing so easily when our players pressed. We were pressing as individuals and not as a team in zones. That's the big difference.

Dunk, I'm just wondering if they were just looking for minor investment. 1. Why is Tom Werner (probably the most important person at the club apart from klopp) taken away from his daily duties at the club to focus solely on finding investment.
We've always been open to minor investment according to fsg, so why take him away from his daily duties. If they were not interested in a full sale, then why not have him back at Anfield .
