Got my CourseCareer certificate, half way done my A+, and now hopefully to get hired soon for my first IT job then get into cloud. Great video 💯
I’m starting my journey into IT-Cybersecurity. It’s daunting! I still don’t understand subnetting, but I know I’ll get there… hopefully. 😒
Keep pushing forward, you'll master subnetting in no time!
I'm 30. Got a BS in a degree that got me nowhere. Past couple years however, I've become very interested in computers and want to turn that hobby into a career. Can't go back to school and take on more debt, but I'm studying for my A+ now and hope to grab some more certs as well! This video makes me feel like I'm making the correct choice
You are. The A+ should get you a decent help desk job. Sky's the limit after that
Thank you for this video! This is very helpful!
Thank you, very helpful. I came across your channel while researching a possible career move from accountancy across to IT and then into Cybersecurity
Thank you so much for this! Very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Great info! Thanks!

Thank you bro
Any time
Great video, would like top 5 "mid" certification recommendations"!
I will add it to the list of videos I plan on making
Hey there, B.I.T.D! Thanks for this and all your other videos and contributions to the industry. Enjoyed seeing you in certmaster lessons too. It's only been a few days since I started applying for help desk I/support specialist roles with my A+, and I'm already getting kinda worried and discouraged. Guess it's gonna take a lot more pounding the pavement 😂 I did create my "own experience" by making a few cheesy videos, however(since I've got zero real experience).
That first job is always the hardest but don't give up. It will pay off in the end.
Nobody tells you how to learn the subjects before you actually study for the certification. Just studying for a test does not make you learn adequately.
Yeah dude you’re right. You have to apply it to actually learn stuff. I learned that learning coding… you have to jump in and build projects
Great info. I just obtained my Security + and I'm ready to hit the ground running.
Epic .... Good luck on you job hunt.
Thank you
Hi, could you please share the roadmap that appeared in this video?
Thanks for your work man, new subscriber!
CCNA is not an entry level certification. It literally says it in the name. It’s associate level. In my area, you are not required to have a CCNA for networking unless you are a network engineer. Network work Tech requires the Cisco CCST which is an entry level cert.
Between Cisco CCST and Comptia Net+ , which would you advise me to persue.
@@FrancisSemba depends on what the job you are seeking requires. But, CCST, Net+, and CCNA are good. Now if you know you want to be in Networking long term, I would say CCNA.
Dum question…. What are the best ways to learn BEFORE you study for the certification test?
Cisco Certified Support Technician is Cisco's entry level cert in the Enterprise roadmap, it might be worth mentioning
you are correct and while it is a good cert I feel the majority of people can skip it and just dive into the CCNA.
@@TheBeardedITDad That's fair, It does have a purpose of introducing you to CCNA topics
Hi there.
Thanks for your detailed information. Need your advise please. I’m interested in the health sector (Nursing) but wants to have basic knowledge in IT for initial job and income while in nursing school. I’m not necessarily interested in becoming an IT Pro. Which IT training would you advise I take on as my situation regards. I thought about Google IT support. It is good enough or do you have better suggestions please?
How about security+? Im.interested in cyber security
its is a good cert but You need some foundational knowledge first to be successful i feel.
I did computer studies in high school as a major subject...also got Cisco introduction to networking and introduction to cyber security ....i also managed to bag network analysis by blueteam security and SIEM Rule Alert developmnt by PIcus security and Certified Cyber security by ISC2 all which are free is that enough for a foundation sir?
Thank you for the video. I also been hearing that CCNA cert jobs aren’t as available as before, is that true? Thank you!
I definitely still see quite a few of them... There may not be as many as there was 15 years ago, but there's definitely still quite a few out there
Hey all, I wanted to know as an Australian,I have been in IT for 2 years doing an entry level IT Technician job including the basic certification. Does anyone here know some of the more enjoyable high end hands on IT career paths I may look into? Interested to know as I progress in my career. I ask as I have been in construction for over 13 years and injured my back, I would like to use my head but need to get handsy
How about google and amazon certs
No sec +? Just curious
😃👍
Thanks for valuable information. I worked as Application Analyst. I want to start my career as system analyst/network analyst. Will CCNA or Linux plus cert help in starting a new career?
Also, is Juniper-junos cert still worth for anyone aiming to start career in networking?
Great to hear you're looking to transition! Yes, both CCNA and CompTIA Linux+ certifications can be quite beneficial for a career in system or network analysis. CCNA is perfect for networking fundamentals and Cisco environments, while Linux+ is ideal for managing Linux-based systems. The Juniper-Junos cert is still valuable, especially if you aim to work in environments using Juniper technologies. It’s all about aligning certifications with your career goals and the tech used by potential employers. Best of luck!
oh, Are there none for the programming area specifically?
Programming is not normally an entry level track... but there are some beginner certs out there for programmers.. sounds like i need to create another video.
Isn’t IT job market is overstated ?
Yeah, it can seem that way sometimes, but there are still plenty of IT jobs out there if you look in the right places.
i just got my CCNA last week and now i'm searching for an opportunity, maybe is a good idea to start prepare to encor or should i better have some work experience first?
I would recommend getting that first job in tech first but it never hurts to keep studying.
Thankss, i'm getting into BGP since there's nothing in CCNA and i'm hoping to learn something about firewalls too, i hope that this gets me somewhere@@TheBeardedITDad
BGP is a great skill to have as not many people are brave enough to tackle that.
Please share or suggest me your study material for passing CCNA exam, Thanks in advance.

CCNA
TFW i have all of these except CCNA, but can't get a job(my personality is shit because I have almost no social skills and breakdown and cry under preasure), lol its all a joke. rn am doing SANS, ik in the future, I'll have no \jobs but certs r like a hobby at this point funded by my parents that I tell, "oh, with this cert, i promise they'll give me a job)
:c
Going into a heavily scripted job really helped me with my customer service skills. I can't say much about your temperament because I do not know you but you can always work on being more patient and try to be kind to both yourself and others.
Hang in there, you never know what opportunities might come your way!
This is one long infomercial. Sounds like u got ur script from their marketing teams
