Have you ever soldered 18 awg to just the power connections of a USB. I got one done and working but I dont trust the solder because its such a small solder point.
Dear ground is neutral not -ve 5 volt. Else output voltage difference would be 5-(-5)=10 And that wrong Red one is +5 and ground is o hence potential difference =5

My dash cam mini usb has only two colours. Black and white. When I spliced Black with Black and White with Red to another data USB to get a power extension, it only gives a flickering screen. What is the case when power USB has only Black and White wire as explained above? Thanks in advance.
is the connector colored white on the inside interface? if so then it's the 1st version if usb's and only has a basic hot an negative wire, This is because in early wiring and even today. What they did with the ground wire was use it as a metal shielding around the negative wire and they use them as one wire. So if you were to strip the wire back enough , you'll see metal shielding start to wrap around the wire and that shielding itself was the ground wire

You are not correct on your paper. Red is +5.0V on Pin1, Black is Ground on Pin4, Green is Data+ on Pin3 , White is Data- on Pin2.
