There is some caption in this video to help explain what I said.
[updated Oct 1, 2012] after 11 months of usage (now my odo read 10250 miles), actual highway MPG claim hold. I use fuel with ethanol most of the time.

Minh, with my last Camry, 2011, I got 36mpg on the highway. Toyota claims the 2013 receives a different final drive, which reduces the rpms at highway speeds. Your videos are great, so keep it up. You give the impression of being very honest with your reviews. This makes listening and watching your videos a breath of fresh air.

From my past experience, Texas highway is in good condition, less steep uphill (except where those exits exist) than Oklahoma. So achieving 37mpg or more is fairly easy. I heard it somewhere that engaging Cruise control will not improve millage and now it is confirm by you so it's understandable. My car right now is reaching 20,000 miles. I will upload a video just to show case how it still performs ^_^

Thank you for your compliment! Owning a brand new car is a good experience so I just want to document it as much as I can, without making audiences bored ^_^ and while I'm still living in U.S.

Sorry for confusing you, I'm using english as my 2nd foreign language. We may speak different thing here. I'm trying to say that it's Hard to get 35mpg. I have to consciously try to drive in a right manner to get that mpg. Thank you for comments on my video. ^_^

it has been a long time ago since this video posted. I would say cruising speed is 75 and passing speed is 80 mpg. I couldn't remember the gas price back then though :-(

You only get part of my video review. Under my testing condition (almost highway driving, gentle acceleration, moderate wind, narrow speed variance, and less than 300lbs load - include 2 passengers and some luggage), I agree Toyota claim is accurate. Other than that I don't know. Btw, I suggest you see manufacture claim regarding MPG (they are tested under some specific condition too)

true, i was just saying, you sounded like u was expecting more out of something that was unsaid. i think it is just average highway MPG as 35 from full load to only 1 passenger they probably averaged it same for city.

Yeah and always companies always wants you to see their best mpg numbers so try can sell more same with Altima I saw a review from motor week and they said it ended on the lower side of the averaging so yeah all companies emphasize best #'s they possibly can so thanks anyways :)

I easily get 35mpg on the highway driving at 70-75mph. ( i usually drive 90% on the highway and my average is 37mpg)
