Just FYI when Dominicans say "Uno y Medio" it means $150 "Dos y Medio" means $250, etc. hope you get a chance to go to "Bahia de las Aguilas" which is the best beach in the whole country, other places that will blow your mind are "Constanza" and "Jarabacoa" both are the coldest cities in the country and the entire Caribbean with amazing weather and nature, full of mountains, it's a landscape that you wouldn't think existed in DR and the Caribbean
Thanks for clearing that up, and yeah I learned that the hard way lol. It was confusing at first. I did visit Bahia de las Aguilas and it was definitely very beautiful. I wish I had had time to visit Constanza and Jarabacoa but I didn't venture up into the highlands. Maybe next time. It would be awesome to experience a cool, mountainous climate in the middle of the Caribbean.
