Can you please share your knowledge about this bike friend?? I would like to know if there are any serious issues with the engine of this bike cause I hear a lot around and I'm considering to get one one of these days because its my dream bike, but I seriously don't want to encounter any major problems for the obvious reasons. I know all about the issues of the electronic system but noone is talking about the engine for some reason and that could be a good or a bad thing and once you already own one I would welcome your response dearly. Thank you anyway, you got a very beautiful bike there.

Hi there . Since you know about the easy to fix electric issues then you have nothing to worry about. Engine is bulletproof. I know people that have done more than 150.000 km and engine is still going strong. Let me know if you have any specific questions but I'd say go for it. It's a great bike and there are plenty of things you can do to it to keep your interest and the bike fresh. Thanks for watching

@@Paraclete333 I bought the 9955i tiger 🐅 😎 eventually. It was a dream bike as well and both Caponord and 955i were my two favourites. Now my story goes like this: First I bought the ETV 1000 but they send it to me with a cracked chassi and for the obvious reasons after 2 and a half months I asked for my money back and then I found a very nice opportunity to buy the 955i which was always on my top 3 adventure bikes. I had the ETV 1000 for two and a half months and it was a bit bigger and more robust as a bike compared to the tiger, but the tiger on the other hand is lighter, more simple, more adaptive and overall more economical than the ETV. That's why to me personally fits better as a touring-adventure bike. Anyway here in Greece isn't very easy to find an adventure bike in a good shape. Most are totally destroyed or completely abandoned and its very very hard to find something to worth your while and your money. I guess I got lucky enough to find that jewel of a bike in an almost excellent condition, it had it's flaws but nothing major, only some usual stupid expendables, due to it's age (it's a 17 years old bike, 2004 model) and as you can imagine that goes along with some annoying things that had to be replaced. Thank you anyway for your interest to help but I'm fine with the tiger 🐅.

Hi there! Nice video, and nice bike! Im considering to get one too... How is the fuel consumption riding 2 up?
    Thanks for the video 👍👍

It's better when I am riding 2 up as I am going much slower 😂😂😂. To properly answer your question fuel consumption was never a high point of this engine and bike but that's now why you chose them anyways. Don't see that much of a difference under the same conditions. Now if you have the top case and side paniers and 2 up you will see as much as a + 1.5 - 2 liters

      Usually somewhere between 5 and 6 liters/100km
