my grandpa had heaters on all of our farm equipment, and trucks. we never used starting fluid, NEVER. take care of the things that put food on the table.
the 6030 with factory cab is such a nice machine too. Most of the ones I've tried to buy some prick has "restored" (rattle can paint job) and taken the cab off so it looks cooler in parades and at the fair.
It's been fun reading the comments. Thank you all. Here's the info on the situation... The motor was shot, the block heater didn't work. The new owner was properly informed and was there to pick it up. They turned it into a puller either way.
I was thinking of a couple of bitter comments but then again it's not my equipment, and once you explain the situation, I get it!! But yeah there's some pretty bitter comments LOL
I would have picked a 5020 to make a puller out of. These 6030s are fetching crazy money these days. Worn out from the hood split to the drawbar with bald flat tires and faded paint not running bring north of 15k these days.
Yes i Agree for sure, And i know where i would love to stick that can of ether" But there are so many that just DO NOT CARE and should NOT be allowed to get anywhere near classic tractors" God it makes my blood boil,!!
You guys don't notice it's running on 5 cylinders? Maybe that last case of either blew the rings off half the pistons? Cold start videos are cool, this one outlines stupid.
SMART!!!!!! I thought anybody has sense enough to stay on the starter and get the juices flowing instead of spraying an unhealthy amount of ether! Go ahead....Lock up that old 531 and see what it costs to rebuild.
Ether is terrible for engines.. Have a 4230 that lived off it, got its addiction before I started using it. Had it rebuilt, it came out of rehab successfully.
They were real bad for whatever reason. Most of the 4230’s I knew of didn’t start worth a darn anyway and a couple of those absolutely loved ether no matter what the ambient temp was.
Mine is completely original and was bought brand new by my grandfather. Never repainted nor has it had new interior. Has different injectors though. John Deere put in some shitty ones and now they need to be replaced again.
+Bjoern Tiedemann It uses the vacuum created by the exhaust gasses to remove large dust "things" from the air intake. That's basicly the idea! Fiat 160/180-90 have it too for example..
Jesus h Christ these guys zero idea what they are doing, plug that girl in at night and throw that starting fluid in the garbage 6030 were about as tough as they get will last for ever when u take proper care of them, but sorry guys this is elder abuse

The amount of hate is kinda ridiculous

This is by far hands down the best cold start video ever....because it's not my tractor 👍👍
i like how they are worried about the flap on the stack being stuck but not how they are ruining an engine
Ritchie bros. certified ether sprayers

Holy hell what a way to abuse a classic . Plug the bastard in and show some respect
That's right especially I wish the dude would shut up already
That's an awful sound when classic tractor like that is running on ether
One should invest in a extention cord. It might save you a motor.
Yes i Agree for sure, And i know where i would love to stick that can of ether" But there are so many that just DO NOT CARE and should NOT be allowed to get anywhere near classic tractors" God it makes my blood boil,!!
That's going to do that engine wonders!!! 😫😫😫😫😫
I can't stand the way people talk in this world today!!!
You guys don't notice it's running on 5 cylinders? Maybe that last case of either blew the rings off half the pistons? Cold start videos are cool, this one outlines stupid.
Tell us how did you notice?
JW Cattle listen it, you hear the slow rev up, that means it not firing on one it’s like bruuuuuummmmmm
when its running when u spray either good way to blow it up
Good Way To Drop A Valve!!!

MultiBaldEagle makes me cringe thinking of a rebuild. That's a pretty penny
Just as a side not a total in frame rebuild kit is 3500 bucks
You guys buy starting fluid by the case don't you? Might as well make a shooting target out of it the way you treat it.

Good video Fuck all the haters that ether isnt hurting a thing
Real good cold start
How sad. It looked like a good tractor to restore.
Rakovica 65 is a beast Tractor ,made in Yugoslavia
Mine is completely original and was bought brand new by my grandfather. Never repainted nor has it had new interior. Has different injectors though. John Deere put in some shitty ones and now they need to be replaced again.
This is how you break tractors, not start them. I hope no young farm kids are watching this....
I’m 17 and are tractors have block heaters like this one should
I'm 15, and the only thing this video is doing is showing me what not to do!
@@billylindauer3636 Aw come on it'd be fun
Are these clowns drunk ?
No, they're from North Dakota
lol drunks are smarter
wow that poor tractor it's been used and abused by the morons who sprayed way too much ether in that motor
u guys want to buy another 60 30 i have 1 it has no cab but it didnt come with 1 it has duals and starts up real nice
Last thing you want to do is dump even more unburned fuel into those cylinders by "opening the throttle" (which only injects fuel).
Too much ether like that will crack your Pistons. I've seen it a couple of different times. Done by others of course.
plug them in heat the block is the only way best way
Good one guys...
was running with summer fuel maybe??
yup its addicted to ether
that is not the way to start a tractor like that at all.
y'all act like yalls tractors are sitting in hot shed's I got equipment forty miles from home right now in tha field
check yr pump men this is absolutely not good to keep it run with those shit in a can
IMT YUGOSLAVIA THE ARE THE BEAST IN THE WORLD
Dzon is a Not godd
It's mouth was open.
What's the hose between exhaust and air intake for?
+Bjoern Tiedemann It uses the vacuum created by the exhaust gasses to remove large dust "things" from the air intake. That's basicly the idea! Fiat 160/180-90 have it too for example..
Wow, please don't start any of my equipment if you have no more knowledge or respect than that.
heat the block right
Too much ether
Jesus h Christ these guys zero idea what they are doing, plug that girl in at night and throw that starting fluid in the garbage 6030 were about as tough as they get will last for ever when u take proper care of them, but sorry guys this is elder abuse
Almost seems like too MUCH fuel. :) Nice video.
Shocking
That sounds awful lol.
You don't deserve to drive a nice tractor like that if you dont know how to take care of it
Probibly gummed up
I'm gonna laugh at your next video when its about how you blew the head.. Tone it done on the ether.. Buy a damn extension cord
If you're having to tell the driver what to do then you need to be in the seat, and stop bossing .
Buy an extension cord
You clearly don’t know how to take care of your equipment
0)0centavos
Not good to use canned fresh air
buy a deutz or a david brown or a renault and put a good starter on a renault even a belarus starts better than that and thay dont start
+jw van liere Its murica bud, none of that exist here
Well this engine would start if it wasn't half dead because of the either...
Mot sayin its a good thing there doin but if its their tractor and money who gives a shit how they start it
Está mais mal concha choca use tractof
old junk
