    Yoo! Banana looks very happy. Huge banana plant fan here. Good practice keeping the base and psuedotem clean.
    If possible try saving the plant leaves and stem waste in a composted or small batch of water to banana compost tea. Putting thos nutrients back in her will make her do even more for U.
    Peace N Love

      Yes I’ve tried but the pot is so small and the leaf’s so big that it’s kinda hard to do so but I definitely give it an abundance of nutrients! 🌿🌿🌿🙏🏽

    Awesome video. I just bought an 8 inch dwarf cavendish and this was immensely helpful for figuring out what to do. Thanks so much for making this. 😊

    Our darling is currently about 90 cm can't wait to see it becoming this big. Love the indoor jungle. Nice to see I am not the only one growing a rainforest in my livingroom. What got my attention tho, is that humidity machine in between your other plants. Does it interfear with the electrics or wallpaper? And where would be the best place to get one from? As I have a few plants that would benefit greatly from a higher air moisture.

    Oh god, it's so beautiful! I have a Cavendish too, but she is under a grow light and I'm not sure if I should aim my fan directly at the plant. Also, since it has 7 pups (offshoots), I'm not sure if I should remove them or leave them.

    Banana plants are number 1 on my easiest plants to grow list. Next would have to be elegant ears. Buy your banana plants small because they grow fast

      I did at one point but after I bleached the walls and not letting the humidity get over 75 I haven’t seen it since! 🙏🏽✅💚

    How is this even possible in that short amount of time? I've had mine for 3 years and it's not even 25% of the size of this one despite putting out new leaves every 2 weeks in the growing seasons

    • @jordanleecurtis
      @jordanleecurtis  Год назад

      I’m not too sure how I got it to fruit but all I can say is, heat, humidity and heavy fertilizers my have done the trick! Dwarf cavendish reach fruiting maturity around 9-16 months so mines was just in time!🌿🌿🌿

      His room looks like it retains fecent humidity, stablized warmer temperatures, and more than enough sunlight.... As well as being an open room the plant doesn't have stale, standing air.

    Is it normal for a leaf to wilt completely down, others are fine

    • @jordanleecurtis
      @jordanleecurtis  Год назад +2

      Yes! Leaf’s drop due to age. But sometimes if a good leaf drops I noticed it’s because it’s a hot day and the banana is low on water!🌿🌿🌿

      I do some of mine in NW GA. Put a wire cage around them the width of the leaves spread and fill with leaves or pine straw. Then take scran wrap and wrap around the cage to keep in the heat. I take the wrap off once the night temps stay at least 60° hope that helps you.
