There is no other sport where players throw themselves at plays with no regard for their safety. (I know it's easier to do when nobody on the other team is aiming to hit you while you are making the play,,,)
Yeah, James McCann's a good backup. Can play good D, can hit lefties pretty well, fine teammate... He'll find a new home next year at a contract of ~ 1/$3MM and he'll be as happy as the team who acquires him.

The Orioles need upgrades in the outfield if they plan on contending this year. Hays had an "All Star" year last year...he hit 16 home runs. That's not going to get it done. Play Cowser, bring up Mayo, and trade for a power hitting center fielder. They cant contend until they make upgrades there and they need more power across the board. Finally, this has to be Jordan Westburgs break out year. They aren't going anywhere with him hitting .250 or less. I'm shocked nobody mentions the Orioles need for more power hitting. In games where the pitcher is on his game you need home runs. They've got 3 guys who hit HRs, they need at least 2 more. I mean 30+ power or more.

5 hour rain delay, temps in the mid 40's, plus rain, middle of the week. In those conditions you aren't getting many fans.
