What a stellar idea to record those last moments. It was such an epic LEGACY production and a huge effort to always maintain the perfection they did with the sets and everything involved in the production, costumes, details, taking us back in time for sure. What a gift to the public!!! It would take a lot to ever supersede this production. There are a couple that are close, or that are shorter productions, but nothing that evolved into this incredible gift. And thanks to those 2 knuckleheads who fostered, nurtured, and energized everything and everyone involved. Only the best, all the more.
We already had the feeling this was going to be goodbye, but watching this now certainly feels different to me. And to my surprise I found myself in tears. I have faith we'll see the main cast again, somewhere, but I'm going to miss this crew, these extras, the crazyness of Pierrefonds. Lovely to see some of the more familiar extras (most of whom have been around for the whole ride) acknowledging the cheers and applause. Anyway, babbling now. Thanks for this awesome vid!
Bradley was so sweet to shake hands... Poor sweet Colin is still so fragile and shy. Angel is so sweet accepting the flowers that I think may have been meant for Colin... but he gave it to her anyways. It was good to see Rupert, I think that's his name. Kudos to the actors, cast and crew and thanks to you for sharing this with us the fans. The music was very fitting. Merlin fan all the way from the Bahamas. :)
Just think how much older they all are in what soon will be 2021, and how much changed by the work they did after the series. Those five seasons were a perfect fantasy of youth. A sequel in any form could only disappoint, and might run the risk of ruining the original magic (pun intended) of the series.
I would want the sequel to be a modern-day Arthur returns sequel, which would make it actually good that they’ve changed so much because they would need to be basically new characters. I’m holding out hope even though I know it’s not gonna happen.
Merlin was such a big thing with me and my friends when we were kids. We used to run around pretending to be sorcerers and writing things backwards and pretending it was spells in Old English. So yeah, for me, half the reason I love it is just pure nostalgia. A sequel could be fun but I wouldn't love it half as much. That's just me though. Perhaps the younger generations would love it.

I'm glad I waited about 10 months to finish watching the last 2 episodes. By then, I was somewhat detached from the rest of the series and didn't cry. My son was sad for about 2 weeks. I didn't need that.
Yeah :) i live in SA and it was my first time overseas too! It was so epic and i cried when i walked into the throne room, i was sobbing the whole time and i met some merlin fans XDD you'll love it, hell of a drive but i loved every moment i mean the scenery when you go there...amazing. and when you first see it it towers over you it looks so mighty and powerful just amazing, you will never have a bad time there trust me its magical :)
My conscience requires of me that I say to all the other fans of Merlin, and to anybody else who may read this, that we are all children of the one true Divine Magic just as I am, no one lesser or greater than any other - the one true Divine Magic that only comes from the uncreated one, the one true, faithful, and living God that dwells in each and every one of our hearts - since the foundation of the World. All of you need to be spamming BBC's twitter page like I do. Demand that Merlin gets a proper send off, with the original cast (those who are still alive/able), NOT a reboot. Whether it be a movie, a mini-series, or a season 6, let them know over and over that the fans need to see Bradley and Colin together once more, to give us what we wanted to see the entire 5 seasons of Merlin: a run of shows and stories where Arthur knows of Merlin's power and they work together to fight whatever the enemy ends up being.
Colin Morgan says they are in the making of a Merlin Movie, hopefully Pierrefonds will be the location, if however it features Merlin as an old man in present-day, you might be able to visit them in the UK?
lol to tell you the truth i cant watch this video, i literally cant because when i first saw it i couldn't breathe, seriously i couldnt and i had to get some water thats how awful i felt, the music the cheering the feelings i cant watch it and for about an hour i couldn't go into my room or it would happen again this vid is too painful to watch its perfect in a painful way, i cant :(((

Unfortunately, she wasn't there when they wrapped. :( I heard she was in Pierrefonds in September, but I never saw her.
bradley probably said no to her because they didn't really have enough time to do autographs etc..
