RCB given their track record is probably gonna break the bank on getting some star batters - ishaan and jfm are surely on their radar- and again end up with no real bowling attack
9:26 MI cannot use their RTM on a capped player since they've already reached the limit for capped players through retentions. I think it's something that's gone under the radar, but it's very important for the auction.
5:50 Overseas openers available in ipl list Conwey Rachin Warner salt roy buttler faf wade qdk mayers Barstow jfm and many more so jfm in not worth 10cr
@JarrodKimberYT KKR can't use more than 108 crore in this mega auction as their purse has been deducted to 69 crores even though they have used 57 crore for retention. So, do they get back 12 crore for the mini auction table to use? or that 12 crore wouldn't be used in any auction until the next mega auction or they share those money with retained players? My understanding is, they can use those 12 crore in mini auction
You should go and see mohsin's actual figures in 2022, he was the best bowler in those limited opportunities and was unplayable with the new ball and super economical even at the death. His injuries reduced his impact! But certainly that wasnt just a decent season but a very good one. Infact his last season was actually a decent one back from injury, while not at his best, still bowled pretty well for such a high scoring season!
Mo Bobat (RCB Director of Cricket) seemed to indicate that Green will not take part in this cycle, so they couldn't retain him even though they wanted to. Don't think it was just about his bowling. Also MI cannot RTM Kishan or any other capped player. They've already retained 5. PBKS cannot RTM Brar; already retained 2 uncapped.
Few Observations: 1) Why RCB is paying Rajat Patidar 11 Crores? They can get other Indian batters in auction of this stature! Maybe he can spinners so well, but what if he gets picked by other teams? 2) Why T Stubbs in place of Jake FM at Delhi that too in 10 crores? 3) I’m a huge fan of R Jadeja but retaining him in 18 crores at this stage is not worth it. Still, Jaddu is Jaddu, truly a 3D Player and maybe csk is showing their loyalty to him to get 200% out of him. 4) Mohsin Khan in 4 Crores is a clear steal, which is not talked enough about! 5) I liked Punjab’s decision of not retaining Arshdeep Singh on flat IPL pitches, they can bet on T Natarajan who is massively underrated but so efficient in death overs.
3:09 Jarrod, you are factually inaccurate. They have said that they released him bcoz of constant injury issues and his recent surgery and not bowling as much as you are emphasizing on it
Will LSG prefer Rishabh or Shreyas? I actually think Rishabh as a keeper/captain batting at 4, with one more good spinner like kuldeep or chahal will make KKR into a killer team again.
Looking at the graph of AkashDeep RCB should have retained him on 5Cr something price like Dayal. Bowlers are gonna be expensive this auction, Arshdeep gonna break the bank for sure.
Most Underrated Indian Seamer at this point of time is T Natarajan. Idk what Indian selectors want him to prove, atleast get him in radar in shorter format!
RCB should RTM Faf dup, will jacks and Siraj. They should try to go for JFM, Phil Salt, Rishabh Pant, Natarajan, Shami and Arshdeep. Personally I think Faf Dup had enough fitness for the next 3 years. How did they overlook the consistent opening partnerships he had with Virat?
Jarrod this video is lil poorly put together. Where you got it wrong: 1) MI can't RTM Kishan, teams get 5 capped + 1 uncapped retentions/RTMs 2) The 4th retention's going to cost 18 Cr irrespective of the amount you pay him. (If DC retained JFM it would have cost them 18 Cr) 3) Tewatia finished way too many games for games for GT and was instrumental in their success in 22 & 23, while Shahrukh Khan is absolute dogshit in IPL. 4) Chahal's numbers look bad last year but he was the reason for much of RR's good performances in the last 3 years. He's already their highest wicket taker ever. They followed the same pattern - were absolutely dominating in the first 8-9 games and then fell off a cliff. Chahal's gonna fetch at least 10-12 Cr and he's 34 (younger than Jadeja). He went at 9s in a season where everybody was going for 10s & 12s. 5) RCB can RTM 3 players. Kohli made 750 something last year at 155 SR, he wasn't just pretty good. The company that owns RCB, wants to sell their shares but they're are waiting for him to retire. Kohli is RCB. 6) Rinku's jump is from 0.55 Cr to 13 Cr (not 5.5). He didn't get to bat last season, he wasn't out of form.
@@DjokerFan if everybody has the same purse and somebody does form an empire they have earned it.
