This song fit the moment in the show SO well! Arcane is absolutely mind blowing and all of the music is SO good! Imagine Dragons, Linkin Park, Bea Miller, Stray Kids, Ashnikko, Denzel Curry, Tom Morello, Royal and the Serpent, Misha Monsoor, it's all so good.
loved how you talked about his piano playing, they did such a great job making a song that perfectly fits the scenes of the show but also tells a story and feels emotional without watching the show. they are performing this for the first time at The Game Awards in a few weeks, will be cool to hear the live version.
Tyler did an interview right before the song was released and said this song to him was about his grandmother who just passed, but it also fits within the show
This song hit me hard. I don''t know anything about the show, but Tyler's music, vocals, and lyrics are amazing! Having recent losses in my family, this song reached through to my heart and soul. It is so powerful.
the show is very good. It is only 2 seasons 9 eps each on netflix. each ep is only around 40 mins and this song shows up season 2 episode 8 if you want to know.
His grandma passed away and he was there. That’s who he dedicated the song too. Also, people are saying this song falls right into overcompensate. If you listen to the last notes you can hear it.
I agree with everything you said. His piano work is subtle and just serves the songs so well. Josh is equally good at doing that with the drums. I think Tyler knocked this out of the park. The lyrics, the vocals, the overall vibe. Gah. It’s just so hauntingly beautiful.
I love watching other professionals reacting to Arcane content. The little details like your explanation of how he doesn’t over play the piano enhances my own experience of the music. Cant wait to see your reactions to the rest of the soundtrack!
Beautiful song! Great reaction! Love little moments where you teach us something we may not know. I am not familiar with Arcane, but between yourself and Nova influencing, I feel I should check it out.
Came for the reaction, stayed for the music 🙂 I like the sound you guys have going on. I'm even more excited you have an actual violinist! Was the music at the beginning of the video also yours? I really liked what I was hearing there too.
This song becomes a lot sadder when you learn he was lyrically inspired to make this after being with his grandma as she passed away. And this song's lyrics are from her perspective as she's in the room before she passed with her family(and him).
I choose to believe that Trees is Tyler truly seeking out God. He has found him and this song closes that loop. So much spiritualism in this song. Most religious art has the light shining on someone. I am by no means overly religious but I can’t help but make that connection EVERY time I hear this. Stunningly beautiful song.

Bunch of punk, metal, emo groups 😂
@@DBT1007Perfect for the emotional turmoil that is Arcane.

I'm glad you enjoyed the song. This song was for Tyler's grandma/nana who passed away

The fact that you can kinda hear someone breathing on a ventilator/oxygen in the background of the song breaks me every time, but it's so subtle
This song has come at the exact time I needed it I have just been diagnosed with cancer and the line feels very revellent to me
I hope you recover soon... I just want to tell you that everything would be fine :)
Josh is a very underrated drummer...
