I love the perspective that older generations described space as the unknown filled with either riches(Star Trek) or terrors(Lovecraft), but nowadays people who are into space ambient descibe it as peaceful. A testament to how much we hate the society today. And the failure that is civilization.
the best experience is that when you are reading a sci-fi novel while you listening to this track then some how the events of the story vibes combine with the music .. this is what i call such a glory ❤
Really haunting and ethereal. Lovely. Of course, if the planet in the background of the artwork was really that close, the surface of this planet/moon would be torn apart by the planet's gravitational effects, but that's just my inner nerd calling 😂Just love this music.
As the fleet neared the coordinates of the distress signal, a re connection of sorts was finally achieved. The signal was weak and still very unstable. Broken fragments of message started to be received. At first, it was not decipherable, but the message appeared to repeat, fortunately. The message became more complete, as the fleet entered the periphery of the star system. Our blood collectively ran cold once we successfully decoded the message - 'For the love of God, you're too late! ... Stay ... Away!'
Eerie, unsettling tones fade in, evoking a sense of unease and growing dread. Distant, distorted static crackles intermittently, hinting at fragmented transmissions from an unknown source. A slow, pulsing rhythm emerges from the murky sonic depths, like the heartbeat of some colossal, dormant beast. Ghostly whispers and indecipherable voices weave in and out of the mix, their messages just beyond the grasp of understanding. The layered soundscape builds in intensity, swelling with foreboding atmosphere and cinematic tension. Urgent alarms and glitchy electronic sounds punctuate the droning ambience, warning of impending danger. The music crescendos to a fever pitch before cutting off abruptly, leaving only an oppressive, cloying silence in its wake. The soundtrack perfectly captures the hopelessness and horror of receiving a devastating message too late.
This is great! Open, serene, a little bit of forward movement, perfect for brain wandering. When this is finished, I'm heading back to Hydra. I've moved in, got a permanent room there now. Never leaving.
