I had heard very conflicting opinions on how these new MPCs sounded, it seems to me that they sound very much in line with the old 1000 2000xl models etc. they do not sound "daw" or very sterile!

yes my friend, I've also read and heard a lot of opinions about the way the new MPCs sound. personally, I prefer to pay more attention to what each one gives me, and do the best I can, always trying to learn more and evolve.
I think the main goal is to enjoy, but… obviously I would love to have an old school mpc like a 60 or even a 3000.. eheheh but their current prices make that reality a fictional idea.. 😂
