It’s so surreal listening to the voice of a great man now lost to history. His voice will not die however, we will keep it alive until gaming is the artform it should be.
I wonder if developers of games will make their games differently because of the two-hour time limit. Designing them to intrigue you enough to keep playing through the two-hour time limit. But the rest of the game, once you've passed the time limit, being bad as the devs don't care about quality anymore because the game can't be refunded. I wish you were still here to test my theory. :(
@@SB-yv8uf This. For the lion share of games and game genres, two hours is a LOT of game-time to get right if your intention is to bait people to cross that line. And imagine the reviews if a game's quality would noticeably drop after those two hours.
@@rijden-nu I know this is 4 years ago but... A Dev back in Fall of 2021 or spring of 2022. Made a 90-minute game, people enjoyed it and then refunded it. I'm wondering why they refunded it. It's probably because it was under 90 minutes and you can buy a lot more games on a steam sale with $7. Now the thing is though, they could have blocked everyone from refunding if they just made the game 3 hours long. The dev would get $7 valve would keep 30% of that since it's a small indie studio, and people would be on eligible to refund the game since it's over 3 hours.
Sadly TB won't be able to reply to you're comment. I don't know the answer but I figure if you google it you'll find a couple of trustworthy websites that'll tell you the answer to your question
TB used to disable the comments on all of his videos because he didn’t feel like dealing with toxic RUclips. Once he died, I guess his wife turned them back on.
6:37 You dont understand how any two minute game could be worth money? Really? Not all video games are Halo, and video games are an art medium. I have bought and enjoyed quite a few games you can beat in under 10 minutes. They are honestly some pretty brilliant games and are well written. I'm not trolling, I'm just saying games like Replica on Steam I beat in under 15 minutes and it was very thought provoking and it led me down a rabbit hole on google post-game. Have an open mind, especially the vinette style games, they are mostly just artists, and you wouldnt bat an eye if someone bought an image for $5 but not $1.99 vinette video games?

Oh and the game was just a glorified walking simulator
2 hours are not enough!
I spent like 2 hours in Gta V loading screens, am i the issue or the game???
I often have issues with a game lasting well over two hours and I get a refund anyways. Just say it crashes.
Damn I miss you
I’m refunding a game, the repurchase that game. Will my refunds will go through? And how long will it take?

For me it usually takes around 24 hours to get my money back.
@@solluxcaptor6823 this was the saddest comment ive ever read
But i played OMSI 2 for 47 hours it sucks there is no end to the game so maybe when its a simulator game make the time to refund it 4 days possibly
Why does it say ther are no comments on this video?
Rainy Wednesdays! It says there’s only 3 for me
Which is odd considering it’s a 3 year old video
